What About the Saints of the Old Covenant?

While writing an article recently about saints, I wrote about them primarily from the perspective of the New Covenant.   I began to consider whether or not there were saints during the Old Covenant period.

In Psalms 116:15 we are told:  β€œPrecious in the sight of Yahweh is the death of his saints.”  This certainly confirms the importance of the saints to Yahweh. Paul tells us there are saints in Colossae, Ephesus, Corinth and other New Testament locations.  What about the Old Covenant?  Yahweh must have had some people he thought precious during the Old Covenant times.

John provides us with a clue about the existence of Old Covenant saints in John 10:16:  β€œand other sheep I have which are not of this fold:  them also I bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold and one shepherd.”  If you consider the New Covenant saints as the most recent fold, then the first fold must be the Old Covenant Saints.

In my study, it was revealed to me that there is one man who is called a saint in the Old Covenant scriptures.  Notice what we are told in Psalms 106:16:  β€œThey envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of Yahweh.” There he is!  This is the only reference that names a saint of Yahweh in the Old Covenant scriptures.

The Hebrew word translated here as saint is Strong’s number 6918, qadowsh. (kaw-dosh)  It can mean sacred, holy one or set apart. Its root word is Strong’s 6942, qadosh, which can mean appoint, consecrate, dedicate, purify or sanctify.  You will also find this word translated as saint in Psalms 16:3 and 89:5.

There is also a Chaldean word translated as saint in the book of Daniel. It is related to Strong’s 6918 and has its own number which is 6922, qaddiysh. (kaw-deesh)

Another Hebrew word translated as saint is Strong’s 6944, chaciyd (khaw-seed). This word means pious, holy, good or kind. This is a commonly used Hebrew word for saint. Here are some other verses where you will find this word translated as saint:  1 Samuel 2:9, 2 Chronicles 6:41 and Proverbs 2:8.

In my research on the Internet, the Catholic websites are well represented regarding the topic of saints. They have a significant interest in this subject.  They pray to saints and they believe that those designated as saints are in heaven and are therefore able to intervene on one’s behalf with the Creator.

Are the saints in heaven? Not according to the Messiah.  He says this in John 3:13: β€œAnd no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven.”

The apostle Peter echoes the same fact in Acts 2:34:  β€œFor David is not ascended into the heavens.”

No saints from either the Old Covenant or New Covenant are in heaven. Those of the Old Covenant are in their graves and the deceased of the New Covenant are also in their graves.  The deceased saints are asleep awaiting the return of Messiah.

Notice the compassionate consideration Messiah YahwehShua shows for his sleeping saints in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17:

β€œFor the sovereign himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of Elohim: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Sovereign in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Sovereign.”

There is no unfair advantage given to the living saints. The dead Old Covenant and New Covenant saints are awakened and rise first into the clouds. The living saints then join them. There is no preferential treatment here. There is only love for ALL the saints. Paul tells us this in 1 Thessalonians 4:18:  β€œWherefore comfort one another with these words.”  I quote these words here for the benefit of the saints. Your Sovereign is very loving as are the saints who are copies of him. (1 John 3:2)  They are filled with His love.

Are there other Old Covenant saints besides Aaron? Of course there are.  Consider Matthew 17:1-3:

β€œAnd after six days Yahshua taketh Peter, James and John his brother, and bringeth them up in an high mountain apart, and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.  And behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.”

There you have two more saints with Messiah in the resurrection. There are more to be considered.  However, the number is still small. The two folds will be one with one shepherd, a good shepherd. (John 10:11)

Messiah, our shepherd, has known His saints before the foundation of the world. We are very precious to him. Perhaps you are being called to become a New Covenant saint. When Messiah returns you may be among both the Old Covenant and New Covenant saints. What great company!

YAHWEH IS CALLING HIS SAINTS: Are You Listening?

Who are the saints?  Paul describes a saint for us in 1 Corinthians 1:2:

β€œUnto the church [in Greek, ecclesia. A better translation of this word is assembly or congregation] of Yahweh which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in the Messiah YahwehShua, called (to be) [not in the Greek] saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of YahwehShua Messiah, our Sovereign, both theirs and ours.”

This is a very important insight. What does it tell us?

1.      Paul was speaking to the ecclesia not a church.  Who is the ecclesia?  Colossians 1:18:    β€œAnd he is the head of the body, the ecclesia.”

Colossians 1:24:  β€œhis body’s sake, which is the ecclesia.”

The saints are the body of Messiah and compose the ecclesia.  You must understand what the ecclesia is. It is not a church. That is an incorrect translation borrowed from pagan beliefs.

All saints are part of the body of Messiah. To find saints, you must know who and where is the body of Messiah.

2.    Saints are sanctified in Messiah YahwehShua.  The word sanctified is of Latin origin. The Greek word is hagiazo, which is Strong’s number 37. This word means to make holy, purify or consecrated.  It comes from the Greek word, hagos, Strong’s number 40. This word means holy or consecrated.

Notice that the saints are made holy in Messiah YahwehShua. This necessary and correct name is not Jesus, Yeshua or Yahshua. Saints can only be made holy through the resurrected name of Messiah YahwehShua.

3.    These people made holy in Messiah YahwehShua are called or named saints.

It is important to identify who the saints are.  Jude tells us in verse three that:  β€œWe should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”  When you find the true saints, you will find true glad tidings.

Why do I say true saints? Because there is a wrong teaching from the Catholic Church that gives incorrect information about who are the saints.  Their belief is that the church authorities designate who the saints are.  They say a saint becomes one through canonization.  There is no scripture to support this belief.

Ralph Woodrow explains the origin of this belief:  β€œLooking back again to the β€˜mother’ of false religion--  Babylonβ€”we find that the people prayed to and honored a plurality of gods.  In fact, the Babylonian system developed until it had some 5,000 gods and goddesses. In much the same way as Catholics believe concerning their β€˜saints,’ the Babylonians believed their gods had at one time been living heroes on earth, but were now on a higher plane.  Every month and every day of the month was under the protection of a particular divinity. There was a god for this problem, a guide for each of the different occupations, a god for this and they god for that.”

(Babylonian Mystery Religion: Ancient and Modern, 1981, p. 31)

I am not talking about these β€œsaints”.  I am specifically speaking about those who are sanctified or made holy in Messiah YahwehShua.

4.    The true saints only call upon the name of YahwehShua Messiah.  The Messiah’s human or prophetic name of Yahshua was blotted out. (Deuteronomy 29:20)  When Messiah died on the tree, his blood absorbed all of mankind’s sin. (2 Corinthians 5:21)  His human name remained attached to his defiled blood so he had to inherit a new name when resurrected. (Hebrews 1:4)

The true saints pray to the Father only in the name of YahwehShua.  This is the name of both the Father and Son. Please note that the 144,000 saints referred to in Revelation 14:1 only have the name of the Father and Son written in their foreheads.

Yes, the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation 14:1 are saints. They are called the firstfruits.  Firstfruits are saints. (James 1:18; 1 Corinthians 15:23)

When Messiah returns, these 144,000 saints will be resurrected with him. (1 Corinthians 15:23)  The rest of mankind will be resurrected after the 1,000-year reign of Messiah. (Revelation 20:5)

Paul is very helpful in clarifying who the saints are. Many are called but few are chosen. (Matthew 20:16)  Perhaps the Father is calling you to be among the 144,000 saints resurrected when Messiah returns. You do not want to be deceived and choose the wrong path to the better resurrection. (Hebrews 11:35)

Paul reveals a very exciting insight in Colossians 1:26-27:

β€œEven the mystery which had been hid from the ages and from generations, but now is MADE MANIFEST TO HIS SAINTS: To whom Yahweh would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is MESSIAH IN YOU, the hope of glory.”

This mystery was ONLY revealed to the saints.  This mystery is part of the faith, β€œwhich was once delivered into the saints.” (Jude 3)  If you want to benefit from this mystery and faith, it is available only through baptism in the name of YahwehShua. Only the true saints practice this prescription for baptism.  This is why you must know who the saints are. Only they can help you take the correct path to the better resurrection and the kingdom of Yahweh.

Notice what we are told in Matthew 7:14:  β€œNarrow is the way, which leadeth to life, and few [144,000] there be that find it.” We are also told in verse 5 to:  β€œBeware of false prophets.”  There are many deceptions that will obscure the truth and attempt to lead you away from the path to life. Therefore, you must seek a reliable source for your information. This would be the saints. You must know how to correctly identify them and then find them.

We of the Light of YahwehShua are the true saints. We are the firstfruits and the body of Messiah. We follow the doctrine of Messiah found in Hebrews 6:1-2.  This is an important doctrine and John cautions us in 2 John 9: β€œWhosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Messiah hath not Elohim.  He that abideth in the doctrine of Messiah, he hath both the Father and the Son.”

We baptize only in the name of the Father and Son, YahwehShua. Upon the laying on of hands the Father’s Spirit is freely given and the seed of Messiah’s Spirit is planted within us beginning the process of forming which then leads to our overcoming.  (Galatians 4:19)  This is the narrow way to become a priest in the order of Melchizedek and serve with our high priest Messiah YahwehShua for eternity.

Pray to Yahweh for truth, pray fervently for guidance and study the articles on this website. In these articles, you will find the revelation of the mystery and faith given only to the saints. These will lead you to a deep understanding. If you are being called and chosen, you will desire to be baptized in the name of the Father and Son, YahwehShua.

We are here for those who are being called by the Father (John 6:44)  and chosen by the Son. (John 15:16)  Please consider asking for our guidance. There is no obligation to us. Your obligation is only to the Father and his Son.

Being called and chosen is the greatest opportunity a human can receive. The reward for overcoming is beyond our complete understanding. We are told in Philippians 4:13 that:  β€œI can do all things through Messiah which strengtheneth me.”  Not only is he offering you the opportunity of a lifetime, he will help you to overcome and be in the better resurrection.

What magnificent love!  It is wonderful to be a saint.  Why not consider it?

FOR THE SAINTS: There is a plan, a purpose, and a destiny

Yahweh has a plan!  Its existence has been obscured due to the incorrect translation of the Greek word, aion. (Strong’s 165)  This truth is revealed in Ephesians 3:11.

But first, let us review how the King James Version translates this verse: β€œAccording to the eternal (aion) purpose.”

For a contrast, let us review how the Rotherham translation presents this verse: β€œAccording to the plan of the ages.”

The King James Version usually translates aion as eternal or for ever.  The better and correct translation of aion is provided consistently and correctly by Rotherham. I encourage you to do your own study of how aion (Strong’s 165) and aionian (166) actually exist in the Greek.

To aid you in your study, you may wish to refer to this website:

http://www.tentmaker.org/books/aion.html.  The article name is β€œAges or Eternity and the King James Version.”

Yahweh is not the author of confusion. (1Corinthians 14: 33)  Yahweh has allowed Satan to perform this task. Satan is a liar (John 8:44) and he uses lies to spread confusion. His confusion allows for the appearance of a random, not well-thought-out existence on the earth.

Your knowledge of the β€œplan of the ages” is vital to your understanding of what is unfolding at this time. The Rotherham translation is very helpful in this effort. It is not a perfect translation, but does have some truth. The author’s insight into the Hebrew word, olam and Greek word, aion, is very revealing.

Now, we know there is a plan, but is there a purpose to this plan? Yes! Please read what Paul tells us in second Timothy 1:9:  β€œWho hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace.”

Notice this is β€œhis own purpose” and not β€œour purpose.”  Our carnal nature wants to do it our way, but we must humble ourselves and submit ourselves to his purpose.  By praying for truth to Yahweh and seeking his will for you is the best way to determine his purpose for you. If you are being called and chosen, the next step would be to accept a baptism in the name of YahwehShua. Once you have the Spirit of Messiah being formed within you, his plan and purpose will become much clearer to you.

Being in Messiah means that at baptism in YahwehShua and with the laying on of hands (Acts 8: 18), you will receive the freely given Spirit of the Father.  His spirit will then plant the seed that will lead to the formation of the Spirit of Messiah within you.  You are not given the full Spirit of Messiah; that must be formed over time. (Galatians 4: 19)  The development of the Spirit within you is what we call overcoming.

If upon death you have the fully formed Spirit of Messiah within you, you will be in the better resurrection.  You must have His Spirit to be resurrected by Messiah. (Romans 8: 9-10)

Only 144,000 Saints will be resurrected with Messiah returns.  (Revelation 14:1)  Many are called but few are chosen. (Matthew 20:16)   All saints are called and chosen before the foundation of the world. (Ephesians 1: 4-5)

The very fact that you have been drawn to this website is probably an indication that you were being called. What will you do with this calling?  That is your decision to make!

We have a plan and a purpose. What about our destiny?   Peter offers this insight: 1 Peter 2:5: β€œYe also, as lively stones, are built up as a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to Yahweh by YahwehShua Messiah.”

1 Peter 2:9:  β€œBut you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that should shew forth the praise of him who has called you out of darkness into his indwelling light.”

You are being called not to just practice a religion. You have been selected before the foundation of the world to be ROYALTY, functioning as Yahweh’s priesthood! For further confirmation of this reality, please review Revelation 1:6 and 5:10.

You may be on the path to be a priest in Yahweh’s kingdom. Paul was on the path to be the high priest among the Jews, but was redirected to be a priest to Yahweh. You may have a path chosen for yourself. But this may be the time for you to be redirected to the opportunity of a lifetime.

Please give this opportunity very careful consideration.  Pray to Yahweh for truth fervently and study his Word. We at the Light of YahwehShua are the servants of Yahweh.  It is our commission to help those Yahweh refers to us. We do not proselytize, coerce or pressure anyone. The Father does the calling. (John 6:44)  We strive to follow his lead. Will you?

You have no obligation to us. Please ask for our assistance and we will do what the Father allows us to do. Contact our elders today to learn more about this exciting destiny and journey.  If you wish to submit a question or comment, please email our Elder at john12e4567@gmail.com. May Yahweh bless your efforts!

TUTANKHAMUN: AN EGYPTIAN FIRSTBORN SON KILLED BY YAHWEH

We have just completed the observance of Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread.  It was during this time that I received an advertisement from the local science museum that they were soon to host an exhibit of artifacts from the tomb of Tutankhamun, also known as β€œKing Tut”.  On the front of the brochure was the picture of the beautiful golden mask that was discovered on his mummy. I have always been drawn to Egyptian history and especially the golden mask discovered when the coffin of Tutankhamun was opened. This mask has become an iconic example of the wealth and glory of the Egyptian pharaohs.

Many scholars believe that Tutankhamun was the firstborn son of the pharaoh, who would not release the Israelites and therefore suffered the loss of his son during the tenth plague. For background on this period in history, I’m going to refer you to the Old Testament book of Exodus and the following two websites:

http://www.ronwyatt.com/the_egyptian_dynasty_of_the_exodus.html

http://ezinearticles.com/?mystery-solved---boy-king-tuts-magnificent-tomb---exodus-miracles-affirmed!&id=1780786

Howard Carter discovered Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922. That tomb was to be the most complete collection of Egyptian funerary artifacts ever found that was preserved for the world to see.

A focus of the pharaohs of Egypt was to prepare for death. They wanted to live after death. They had a belief system that if they were properly embalmed, entombed with things they would need in the afterlife, and kept their name alive, they would live again. This belief system has left us many clues about the pharaohs and their culture.

The tomb of Tutankhamun gives us a wonderful view into the Egyptian culture of the 18th dynasty. I wonder why it was preserved for us?  It had been broken into by grave robbers as so many other tombs had been. However, in this case, they were unsuccessful in their efforts, which has benefited us. The information you will find on the Ron Wyatt website will give you a depth of insight that will greatly supplement your appreciation for what Yahweh tells us about the exodus.

Yahweh wanted us to have extra biblical evidence of what happened in Egypt during the 10 plagues. Egypt was a great and powerful nation but Yahweh humbled it. When you look at the tomb and mummy, you are looking at the remains of the firstborn son of pharaoh who died the night of Passover. His father was a victim as well. The pharaoh died in the Sea of Reeds (often called the Red Sea) along with his mighty army when the walls of water came down upon them.

Where is Tutankhamun today?  Is he in heaven?  The bible would disprove that.  John 3:13 tells us this: β€œand no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven.”

Is he in hell?  The Old Testament Scriptures do not have a concept of hell but only the grave. In Ecclesiastes 3:19 we are told that death is the same for man and beast. In the Ecclesiastes 9:5 we are told that, β€œthe dead know not anything.”

The Old Testament Scriptures shed light on how death is perceived in another way. In Kings 2:10, we are informed that David died and that he, β€œslept with his fathers.” No references are made to a life in death, heaven or hell.  Abraham was, β€œgathered to his people.”  We are informed that these leading figures of the Old Testament are simply in the grave.

We learn more about the fate of the dead in 1 Corinthians 15:22:  β€œIn Christ shall all be made alive.”  King Tut is sleeping in his grave but he will live again! All mankind will be resurrected. Turn again to 1 Corinthians 15, and this time verse 23, which tells us:  β€œEvery man in his own order:  Christ the first fruits; afterward they that or Christ’s at his coming.”

All those who have died are still dead! Tutankhamun, his mother, his father, and all the people alive during the 18th dynasty are dead. They know nothing. They are not conscious. Whether you are a slave, or a pharaoh or even an animal, all die and go to the grave.

However, the animals are not resurrected. All mankind who has ever lived or were conceived will live again. This includes aborted babies as well. All mankind will be resurrected.

Even the prophet Daniel knew he would be resurrected. (Daniel 12:13)  Paul also taught us about being resurrected in first Corinthians 15. The apostle John revealed more in Revelation 20. These are all worth reading. Christians are urged to read these Scriptures especially because they have received false teaching about eternal torture in hell or immediately going to heaven after death.

It is interesting that Yahweh preserved the tomb of Tutankhamun.  I am certain this was done to remind us about the 10 plagues and how he humbled the mighty nation of Egypt.  He is reminding us of the fate of the Egyptian firstborn on that Passover night. The book of Exodus teaches us much about the fate of the Israelites’ firstborn. They lived, while the Egyptian firstborn all perished, including the royalty.

The concept of being firstborn is very important to Yahweh. A firstborn Israelite son received a special status and benefits. (Deuteronomy 21: 17)  The 144,000 firstborn children of Yahweh also have a special status.  James 1: 18 declares that we are a type of firstfruit. We have this status because of the Spirit of Messiah being formed within us from the time we are baptized. Just as Messiah is a firstfruit or firstborn, we will have that same status at the better resurrection. Paul confirms this in Romans 8:29: β€œFor whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

Because Messiah is firstborn we too have that same status through him. John reminds us of this in first John 3:2:  β€œBeloved, now are we the sons of Yahweh, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” We too are firstfruits and new creations.

As firstborn of Yahweh through Messiah, we will be in the first or better resurrection. Who will be resurrected when Messiah returns?  The 144,000 saints will be with him.  The saints are those who are called, chosen and faithful. They will reign with him for 1000 years here on earth after his return. The saints will judge angels and all mankind during the general resurrection or the last great day. The saints also will be with him in New Jerusalem when the new heavens and earth are created.

King Tutankhamun will not be in that first resurrection. He was royalty with special benefits on earth, but he will have a different status in that resurrection. While he was not called by Yahweh to be in the first resurrection, your reading of this article may be your calling to consider a special opportunity that Yahweh has reserved for you.

Out of all the billions of people since Adam there will only be 144,000 in the better resurrection. (Hebrews 11: 35)  Would you like to be considered for one of these very rare and special positions?

The saints will, β€œinherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:” (Matthew 25:34) Paul confirms this in Ephesians 1:4: β€œHe hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world.”  The 144,000 saints are not an afterthought or a great idea that was developed at a later time. From the very beginning it was Yahweh’s intention to create new family members, his firstborn.

How can you become one of the special firstborn beings? Before I answer this question, let’s look at a warning that Matthew gives us in Matthew 20: 16: β€œmany be called but few are chosen”. John tells us that only the Father does the calling. (John 6: 44, 65)  John adds to this understanding by informing us that Messiah does the choosing.  (John 15: 16)

Peter tells us we are a royal priesthood. (1 Peter 2:9) Tutankhamun was royalty as well. However, he was of an earthly or physical royalty, who was assigned to this special status by birth. The saints are a spiritual royalty who have been called and chosen to be born again with this special status.

However, there is an additional requirement. Not only must you be called and chosen, but also faithful. (Revelation 17: 14)  You must overcome. (Revelation 3: 21) But before you worry about overcoming, you must first determine if you are being called and chosen.

How do you do this? You must first pray to Yahweh for truth. Next you must ask, seek, and knock. (Matthew 7: 7)  We are here to guide you through this process of discovery. This may lead you to baptism in the name of YahwehShua. Once you have accepted your calling, you must then be baptized. It is at that time that the Spirit of the Father is freely given to you and plants the seed of the Son within you. It is the formation of YahwehShua within you that will allow you to be resurrected when he returns.

Please note that baptism in the name of a man is not acceptable. Only baptism in the inherited name of YahwehShua allows you to begin the race to the better resurrection. Please read the other articles on this website and consider asking for our guidance.

β€œNarrow is the way.”  (Matthew 7:14)  This is referring to the way to the better resurrection. That is the only path reserved for the 144,000 royal saints.

β€œBroad is the way.” (Matthew 7:13)  This refers to the path assigned to King Tutankhamun. All mankind, except for the saints will be taking this path. During the general resurrection, the saints will identify those who will later join the firstborn in New Jerusalem during their judgment.  Those not selected for New Jerusalem will go first into the lake of fire (Gehenna) and then resurrected into the new heavens and earth.   They will live outside the walls of New Jerusalem. (Revelation 22: 15)  Not one human being who ever lived is lost! What a loving Creator.

There is much to consider here! The first step is baptism in YahwehShua.

Consider Tutankhamun.   Do you want his type of royalty? How about an eternal royalty? (Revelation 20: 6)

If you have found this website, it is probably not by chance. This is possibly your invitation from Father Yahweh. Please pray for truth in the name of Father Yahweh and consider carefully what you are being offered.

If we can be of help, please let us know. We have been chosen to lead others, perhaps you!

WE ARE NOT A CHURCH!

Are you seeking truth? Are you dissatisfied with mainstream religious organizations? Does the Bible not seem to communicate to you? What are you going to do?  Yes, you could give up, but perhaps, deeper study and scriptural truth might help!

The Bible says: β€œfor many be called, but few chosen.” (Matthew 20: 16)  We are also told: β€œbecause strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”  According to what we just read from the Bible, you are seeking something that is very elusive.  You are seeking something that is not easy to find. The very fact that you are interested in looking beyond the obvious answers sets you apart.

I was raised in a church. I spent years not being satisfied with the teachings of many different churches. When I expanded my search beyond the churches and other major religious groups, I began to find what had eluded me for so long.

I have found my home with the Light of YahwehShua. We are not a church but a fellowship of faith. Please review our website and consider taking advantage of the guidance offered by one of our elders. There never is any obligation.

When I cried out for truth many years ago, I was desperate and afraid. In hindsight, that was the real beginning of my search for truth. But many years of searching were still ahead of me.

It was much later in life that I was given a shortcut that would reveal the truth more quickly. I want to share this with you and perhaps it will open your mind to a better understanding more quickly.

Today the Internet can be a very valuable resource for exploration and research. However, one must be very careful, as there is much more than just truth available. There are many lies and deceptions as well.

I am going to introduce you to an article, β€œProve All Things” by a brother in the faith, George Gabler, who taught me the truth of YahwehShua. I will summarize some key points of this article, but please go to this website for the complete article:  http://kahalyahweh.net/articles/notes-on-prove-all-things.html.

If the Father is calling you at this time, this information could put you on a faster track. (John 6: 44, 65)

You must be willing to prove all things. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)  Mr. Gabler expands on this insight in the following way:

Β·      To prove all things does not mean getting instant understanding.  Be patient and     persistent.

Β·      If you do not understand, give it time. Set it aside, take a break and then continue later.

Β·      Search ALL Scriptures.

Β·      Do not rely on definitions or translations that support doctrine. Give the scriptures a chance to tell their own story and not just man’s perspective.

The most important first step is to pray to Yahweh for truth. You want HIS truth rather than man’s interpretation.  Paul tells us in Romans 8:7 that: β€œThe carnal mind is enmity against Elohim.”  Our mind is not naturally open to Yahweh’s truth. He must allow our minds to be opened. Do you remember what we found in John 6:44, 65?  Unless the Father calls us, it is not our time and we will not be able to grasp the truth.

It is important not to just read translations and accept what they say. For example the word, church, is not scriptural. It has pagan origins. This is also true of Christmas, Easter, and hell.

Any organization that calls itself a church is not where you will find the truth you need. I’m going to give you some websites that will offer you a deeper understanding of what the word church really means.

I’m going to introduce you to the first website by quoting from their article, β€œWords with Heathen Origins in the Scriptures.”

β€œThis is the word used in most English versions as a rendering of the Greek β€œEkklesia.” The Greek word means β€œa calling out,” β€œa meeting,” or β€œa gathering.” Ekklesia is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew kahal, which means an assembly or a congregation.

The origin of the word β€œchurch” is kuriakon or kyriakon in Greek. The meaning is a building (the house of Kurios, or Lord).

Dictionaries give the origin of β€œchurch” as the Anglo-Saxon root, circe. Circe was the goddess-daughter of Helios, the Sun-deity. The word circe is related to β€œcircus,”  β€œcircle,” β€œcircuit,” and β€œcirculate.”

Circe was originally a Greek goddess whose name was written and pronounced as Kirke. The word β€œchurch” is known in Scotland as kirk, in Germany as kirche,  and in Netherlands as kerk.”

Here is a list of other websites that will provide more historical background and a deeper insight into the pagan origins of the word church.   Once you understand that the word church is based on a lie, how can the organization with this name lead you to truth?

This is a fascinating search. It is exciting to find the actual truth behind a certain word or concept. To find the path to the truth, you must develop the skills of a detective.

There is no translation of the Hebrew or Greek scriptures that I have found to be 100% accurate. For example, I was raised to read and accept the King James Version of the Bible. However, when I was led to look up the word, β€œLORD”, I discovered that it was not a proper translation of the Hebrew name for my Creator.  His name is Yahweh. His name is also known as the Tetragrammaton because it is composed of four Hebrew letters: yod, hey, waw, hey.  Without his name you cannot find your way to the full truth.

We read in Joel 2: 32 that: β€œWhosoever shall call on the name of Yahweh shall be delivered:” However, when you look in the King James Bible, the word is β€œLORD.” It is important to know the actual name of the person you are calling upon. A fictitious representation is not enough.

This is a very small beginning. There is much yet to learn. But it is a beginning! If you were being called, Yahweh will lead you. Take this one-day at a time. Pray daily multiple times each day to Yahweh for truth. At least now you know the correct name. When I cried for help I knew only the word, β€œgod.” It was worthless!

In the book of Acts 2: 37, we are told that on Pentecost many of those present asked this question of Peter and the Apostles:  β€œMen and brethren what shall we do?”  They heard the truth and that was a beginning. But action was required. What did they need to do next?

Peter gave them an answer that is recorded in verse 38: β€œRepent, and be baptized every one of you in the name....” I did not reveal the name, did I?  Why did I do this?  Any name that you find in your Bible translation or any Bible translations I’ve seen is not the true name. You must have the correct name.

This is where you must read the other articles on this website to understand what the proper name is for baptism. Without the correct name for baptism, it is a wasted effort.

Churches and most assemblies or congregations do not have the correct name. Mainstream religious groups do not understand the significance of Deuteronomy 29:20, which says: β€œAll the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him and Yahweh shall blot out his name from under heaven.”

A correct understanding of this verse is especially necessary to understand what we are told in Galatians 3:13: β€œMessiah hath redeemed us from the curse of the law.”  What were we redeemed from?  His name was blotted out, instead of ours. All mankind will NOT have their names blotted out. Only His name is blotted out. All mankind will be resurrected and not one will be lost.

Why is this important?  Messiah’s human name was erased or blotted out when he died in our sin.  Therefore he had to inherit a new name when he was resurrected.  (Hebrews 1: 4)  You must understand that he inherited a new name to understand the significance of the book of Acts 4:12 that tells us: β€œThere is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” The world does not know this. They hold on to his human name:  Jesus, Yahshua, Yeshua, Yahushua --pick one. It doesn’t really matter which of these names you select, they are all incorrect. Baptism in any of these names is worthless.

Religion has lied to you. Churches lie to you. You need to seek the less traveled path. You need to pray to Yahweh for truth!

Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 2:14 that: β€œThe natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of Yahweh.”  So, what makes the difference?  Paul gives us the answer in verse 16: β€œWe have the mind of Messiah.”  How do I develop the mind of Messiah?

When we are baptized in YahwehShua, the Father freely gives us his Spirit. That Spirit plants the seed of Messiah’s Spirit within us.  From that spiritual seed, the mind of Messiah develops. It is His mind in us that leads us into all truth, not our natural or carnal mind. Paul confirms this in Romans 8:9: β€œIf any man have not the Spirit of Messiah, he is none of His.”

Studying the Bible is like putting a puzzle together. You build a true picture piece by piece. This secret is revealed in Isaiah 28:9-10; β€œWhom shall he teach knowledge? And who shall he make to understand doctrine?  Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.”

Just reading the Bible will not by itself lead you to the truth. You must study and put the pieces together. Once again, it is not you but the leading of the Father’s spirit. Once you have the seed of the Spirit of Messiah being formed in you, it is not about you, but Messiah in you. (Galatians 4: 19)
