2 EARS & 1 MOUTH

A sister mentioned the above in conversation. I was probably talking too much. It is important to listen and consider others better than one’s self. What does the bible say ?

Jas 3: v4. Behold also the ships, which though [they be] so great, and [are] driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

V5. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

V6. And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

V7. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

V8. But the tongue can no man tame; [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

V9. Therewith bless we YahwehShua, even the Father (Yahweh); and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of YahwehShua.

V10. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

V11. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet [water] and bitter?

V12. Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? Either a vine, figs? So [can] no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

V13. Who [is] a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

Pro 27: v1. Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth

V2. Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.

Pro 13: v3. He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: [but] he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.

Pro 8: v13. The fear of Yahweh [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward (crookedness/perverse/distortion) mouth, do I hate.

Pro 4: v24. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

Pro 6: v1. My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, [if] thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,

V2. Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

Jas 1: v26. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion [is] vain.

Mat 12: v36. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Luk 19: v22. And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, [thou] wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

Psa 39: v1. I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

Consider others better than yourself, else you have pride.

Php 2: v2. Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be like minded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind.

V3. [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

V4. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

Let your words be few (so you can listen).

Ecc 5: v1. Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of Yahweh, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

V2. Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter [any] thing before Yahweh: for Yahweh [is] in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few

Pro 17: v27. He that hath knowledge spareth his words: [and] a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.

Jas 5: v12. But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and [your] nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

Mat 6: v7. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do:] for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Pro 10: v19. In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips [is] wise.

What should be in your mouth?

Deu 30: v14. But the word [is] very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Jos 1: v8. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success

Think before speaking. You need to honor what comes out of your mouth.

Num 30: v2. If a man vow a vow unto Yahweh, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth

Make sure what you're hearing is the truth. Joshua (Yahshua is the correct name, there was no J in the Hebrew language at that time) was supposed to kill everyone in Gibeon, but was fooled by the Gibeonites telling him they were from a faraway land. They lied to Yahshua and used Yahweh’s name to mislead him. Yahshua therefore did not obey what he was told to do by our Creator.

Jos 9: v3. And when the inhabitants of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done unto Jericho and to Ai,

V4. They did work wilily, and went and made as if they had been ambassadors, and took old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles, old, and rent, and bound up;

V5. And old shoes and clouted upon their feet, and old garments upon them; and all the bread of their provision was dry [and] mouldy.

V6. And they went to Joshua unto the camp at Gilgal, and said unto him, and to the men of Israel, We be come from a far country: now therefore make ye a league with us.

V7. And the men of Israel said unto the Hivites, Peradventure ye dwell among us; and how shall we make a league with you?

V8. And they said unto Joshua, We [are] thy servants. And Joshua said unto them, Who [are] ye? And from whence come ye?

V9. And they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name Yahweh thy Creator (notice they used the name Yahweh to fool them, this will happen in the end times as well): for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt,

V10. And all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites, that [were] beyond Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, which [was] at Ashtaroth.

V11. Wherefore our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spake to us, saying, Take victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and say unto them, We [are] your servants: therefore now make ye a league with us.

V12. This our bread we took hot [for] our provision out of our houses on the day we came forth to go unto you; but now, behold, it is dry, and it is mouldy:

V13. And these bottles of wine, which we filled, [were] new; and, behold, they be rent: and these our garments and our shoes are become old by reason of the very long journey.

V14. And the men (of Joshua) took of their victuals, and asked not [counsel] at the mouth of Yahweh.

V15. And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.

V16. And it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a league with them, that they heard that they [were] their neighbours, and [that] they dwelt among them.

V17. And the children of Israel journeyed, and came unto their cities on the third day. Now their cities [were] Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kirjath-jearim.

V18. And the children of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn unto them by Yahweh, Creator of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the princes.

V19. But all the princes said unto all the congregation, We have sworn unto them by Yahweh El of Israel: now therefore we may not touch them.

V20. This we will do to them; we will even let them live, lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath which we sware unto them.

V21. And the princes said unto them, Let them live; but let them be hewers of wood and drawers of water unto all the congregation; as the princes had promised them.

V22. And Joshua called for them, and he spake unto them, saying, Wherefore have ye beguiled us, saying, We [are] very far from you; when ye dwell among us?

V23. Now therefore ye [are] cursed, and there shall none of you be freed from being bondmen, and hewers of wood and drawers of water for the house of my El.

V24. And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that Yahweh thy El commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

V25. And now, behold, we [are] in thine hand: as it seemeth good and right unto thee to do unto us, do.

V26. And so did he unto them, and delivered them out of the hand of the children of Israel, that they slew them not.

V27. And Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of Yahweh, even unto this day, in the place which he should choose.

My only hope.

Pro 17: v28. Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: [and] he that shutteth his lips [is esteemed] a man of understanding.

HalleluYahwehShua!

NO ATHEIST IN A FOXHOLE?

A brother by the Holy Spirit mentioned the above. It generated a number of scriptures. Don’t wait until you’re in a burning home or a plane on fire, but pray like you are! Don’t be like the atheist that is worse than Satan (Jas 2: v19. Thou believest that there is one YahwehShua; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble).

Our Creator in the flesh tells us how to pray.

Mat 6: v5. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are:] for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

V6. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet (Daniel didn’t have this scripture and prayed in his window: Dan 6: v10. Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before Yahweh, as he did aforetime.

V11. Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before Yahweh. V12. Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask [a petition] of any god or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions?

The king answered and said, The thing [is] true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not), and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

V7. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do:] for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

V8. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Luk 11: v2. And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name (Yahweh). Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

V3. Give us day by day our daily bread (physical and spiritual).

V4. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

Be persistent.

Luk 18: v2. Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not Yahweh, neither regarded man:

V3. And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

V4. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not Yahweh, nor regard man;

V5. Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

V6. And Messiah said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

V7. And shall not Yahweh avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

V8. I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Include repentance.

Luk 13: v3. I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

V4. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

V5. I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Pray for wisdom.

Jas 1: v5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of YahwehShua, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Jas 3: v17. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Pray for your enemies.

Mat 5: v43. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

V44. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

V45. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

V46. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same?

V47. And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more [than others?] do not even the publicans so?

V48. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Pray for the sick.

Jas 5: v14. Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the ecclesia; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of YahwehShua:

V15. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and YahwehShua shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Pray for your physical family too.

Since we're asked to pray for our spiritual family (closest family) and at the other extreme our enemies it suggests we should pray for everyone else in between those 2 extremes ( physical family, poor, prisoners, orphans, widows, people suffering, all creation)!

Pray with thanksgiving and supplication.

Php 4: v6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication (entreating and seeking YahwehShua) with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto YahwehShua.

Pray that you be counted worthy to escape some of the terrible things coming during the seals and trumps of the end times.

Luk 21: v35. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

V36. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Pray and repent like you’re trapped in a foxhole with bombs and bullets everywhere or trapped in a plane going down on fire, because your physical and spiritual life depend on it!

HalleluYahwehShua!

WHOLE ARMOUR

A brother by the Holy Spirit mentioned the whole armour we need to put on daily. He mentioned the whole armour covers your front not your back. You have to go through the trials; you can’t turn and run because your back is uncovered, but YahwehShua has your back!

Pro 18: v10. The name of  Yahweh [is] a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe

Psa 4: v8. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Yahweh, only makest me dwell in safety.

But you have to obey.

Deu 28: v1. And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of Yahweh thy Creator, to observe [and] to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that Yahweh thy Creator will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

V2. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of Yahweh thy Creator.

Psa 119: v117. Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

Paul describes the armour.

Eph 6: v10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in YahwehShua, and in the power of his might.

V11. Put on the whole armour of YahwehShua, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

V12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood (humans), but against principalities, against powers (evil spirit controlling most humans), against the rulers of the darkness of this world (fallen angels working for Satan), against spiritual wickedness in high [places] (Satan is constantly accusing us to our Creator at our Creator’s throne room but he has no access to the Father’s throne like us!).

V13. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of YahwehShua, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

V14. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth (Word/Bible), and having on the breastplate of righteousness (Psa 119: v172. My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments [are] righteousness).

V15. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace (seek peace with all: Psa 34: v14. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Peace is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit: Gal 5: v22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith).

V16. Above all, taking the shield of faith (Gal 5: v6. For in YahwehShua neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love), wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

V17. And take the helmet of salvation (2Co 6: v2. For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in a day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now [is] a accepted time; behold, now [is] a day of salvation), and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of YahwehShua:

V18. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all Saints;

Saul had heavy physical armour that was too much for David.

1Sa 17: v37. David said moreover, Yahweh that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and Yahweh be with thee.

v38. And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail.

V39. And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved [it.] And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved [them.] And David put them off him.

Saul’s physical armour didn’t save him.

1Ch 10: v13. So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against Yahweh, [even] against the word of Yahweh, which he kept not, and also for asking [counsel] of [one that had] a familiar spirit, to enquire [of it;]

V14. And enquired not of Yahweh: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

David didn’t have any physical armour other than a slingshot and a rock.

1Sa 17: v45. Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name  Yahweh of hosts, the Creator of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

V46. This day will Yahweh deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is  Yahweh in Israel.

V47. And all this assembly shall know that Yahweh saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle [is] Yahweh's, and he will give you into our hands.

V48. And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward (like our brother said he didn’t turn his back) the army to meet the Philistine.

V49. And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang [it,] and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead (into his brain); and he fell upon his face to the earth.

V50. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone (and the ROCK):

1Co 10: v2. And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; V3. And did all eat the same spiritual meat; V4. And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Messiah), and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but [there was] no sword in the hand of David.

v51. Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his (Goliath’s) sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.

Winston Churchill famously said during World War Two “when you’re walking through hell, keep walking” (like our brother said don’t turn but go through the trials!). This life is the first hell (the darkness below) satan’s kingdom. Be a light and keep moving forward, soldier!

Put on the Spiritual Armour daily as a sister once said “it’s all about the spiritual”

HalleluYahwehShua!

POINTING YOUR FINGER

A brother mentioned by the Holy Spirit that every time you point at someone with your finger three fingers are pointing back at yourself!

Turn on any television and frequently conservatives are condemning  LGBQT, democrats, democratic policies, etc. Democrats likewise are condemning conservatives, their policies, etc. What does the Bible say?

Jas 4: v12. There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

V11. Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of [his] brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Mat 7: v1. Judge not, that ye be not judged.

V2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

V3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

V4. Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam [that is] in thine own eye?

V5. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Luk 6: v35. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and [to] the evil.

V36. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

V37. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

V38. Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

We aren’t to get caught up in the affairs of the world.

2Ti 2: v3. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of YahwehShua.

V4. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of [this] life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Therefore, voting may not be appropriate for those in YahwehShua.

Dan 2: v20. Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of Yahweh for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

V21. And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

1Sa 8: v7. And Yahweh said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

V8. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.

V18. And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and Yahweh will not hear you in that day.

1Sa 12: v14. If ye will fear Yahweh, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of Yahweh, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following Yahweh your Creator.

V15. But if ye will not obey the voice of Yahweh, but rebel against the commandment of Yahweh, then shall the hand of Yahweh be against you, as [it was] against your fathers.

Paul says not to judge the world, but only gently within your family (spiritual/physical).

1Co 5: v9. I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

V10. Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world (be a light in the world).

V11. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

V12. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within (assembly or spiritual family)?

V13. But them that are without YahwehShua judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Heb 12: v6. For whom YahwehShua loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

V7. If ye endure chastening, Yahweh dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the Father chasteneth not?

V8. But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

V9. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us,] (physical family) and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

Correction must be done gently.

1Th 2: v7. But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:

2Ti 2: v24. And the servant of the YahwehShua must not strive; but be gentle unto all [men,] apt to teach, patient,

V25. In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if YahwehShua peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Mat 18: v15. Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

V16. But if he will not hear [thee, then] take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

V17. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell [it] unto the assembly: but if he neglect to hear the assembly, let him be unto thee as an heathen or publican.

Eph 6: v1. Children, obey your parents for YahwehShua: for this is right.

V4. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of YahwehShua.

We are all sinners, so pointing out another's sin in the world condemns our selves.

1Jn 1: v8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

V9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

V10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Rom 14: v22. Hast thou faith? Have [it] to thyself before YahwehShua. Happy [is] he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

Rom 2: v1. Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Who are you pointing at?

HalleluYahwehShua!

BE PREPARED NOT SCARED

A sister by the Holy Spirit brought up an interesting question regarding preparation (source of food and water during a famine). Could that be construed as a lack of faith in YahwehShua or fear of something other than YahwehShua? Certainly! It generated a number of scriptures from my brother and sisters. I found it so interesting I forgot to do the opening prayer on the Sabbath Holy Convocation until the sister that asked the question reminded me towards the end! What does YahwehShua (living word/bread of life) say ?

1Sa 12: v24. Only fear Yahweh, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great [things] he hath done for you.

Luk 8: v49. While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s [house,] saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

V50. But when Messiah heard [it,] he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

Exo 20: v3. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

V4. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image (false idols, fearing something other than YahwehShua), or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth:

V5. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahweh thy Creator  [am] a jealous Yahweh, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me;

V6. And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

V7. By faith Noah, being warned of Yahweh of things not seen as yet, moved with fear (of Yahweh), prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Rom 11: v20. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high minded, but fear (YahwehShua):

V21. For if YahwehShua spared not the natural branches, [take heed] lest he also spare not thee.

Mat 8: v26. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

Fearless of anything (other than him) and faith (from him) are important but we are not to test him.

Mat 4: v6. And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of Yahweh, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in [their] hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

V7. Messiah said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt (test) Yahweh.

Jas 1: v2. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations (tests/trials);

V12. Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation (test): for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which YahwehShua hath promised to them that love him.

V13. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of YahwehShua: for YahwehShua cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

V14. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

So fear nothing other than Yahweh, have faith, don’t ask him to do something (test him) which is in your power to do.

A brother brought up Joseph and the 7 yrs of plenty and 7 yrs of famine. He knew and prepared.

Gen 41: v34. Let Pharaoh do [this,] and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years

V35. And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.

V36. And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine

Abraham was prepared when Lot was taken.

Gen 14: v14. And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained (prepared) [servants,] born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued [them] unto Dan.

V15. And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which [is] on the left hand of Damascus.

Gen 14: v16. And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.

We also need to be prudent.

Act 13: v7. Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of Yahweh.

Pro 22: v3. A prudent [man] foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself (not because you are afraid): but the simple pass on, and are punished.

And in everything you do remember prayer, not panic.

Mat 6: v33. But seek ye first the kingdom of YahwehShua, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

V34. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil (trials) thereof (James 1:2 count trials all joy = daily trials = smile daily).

A brother brought up a freeze dried food processor as away to prepare food that has a shelf life of 25 yrs.

He is right. It is actually cheaper to buy a freeze dryer than to store several years of freeze dried foods. Just a 1 year supply of freeze dried food can cost 2,700 dollars!

Like Joseph, we know if we're alive in the last three and a half years leading up to the seventh trumpet there's going to be extreme famine.

Be prepared not scared!
