The Name of Inheritance: The True Name of Salvation

This article was written by George Gabler of KahalYahweh.net who generously gave his permission for us to place it on our website. We strongly recommend your reading this article. As you read, pray for truth to Yahweh. We pray that it will be a blessing for you as it has been for many of us.

Can the unclean, defiled, or evil... stand eternally in The Father's presence?

We would all readily agree that someone engrossed in sin, being defiled and unclean, could not enter into the holy of holies. It would be unthinkable that a fornicator, adulterer, murderer, child molester, abortionist, pedophile, thief, liar or other vile person would be accepted open-armed by The Father into His pure presence. Someone so corrupt, depraved, and unrepentant could never stand in His righteous presence, isn't that true? Of course! Could they proclaim a 'death-bed' conversion? Doubtful!

Consider this: when all those sins were placed on Yah'shua, He was made to be sin, i.e. He BECAME sin...because the scripture says...

For he hath made him [to be] sin for us.... (2Cor 5:21)

--all the evil and depravity of mankind was now His...
...and The Father turned His back on Him [Mat 27:46]!

And this:

Messiah hath redeemed us from the curse of the law,
being made a curse for us: for it is written,
Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: [Gal 3:13]

What does this mean?

What does "being made a curse" have to do with anything? Plenty! First, it is an "Old Testament" injunction of the Torah, which means that it would not have been quoted unless it was valid. You will see that actual verse in a moment, but let's ask...Why would The Father utterly turn His back on Yah'shua? If this was really His beloved "Son", how could He do that?

Because, and I repeat ... all the evil and depravity of mankind was now His...AND...He never repented!

In fact He COULDN'T...The Father wasn't listening...because the sins were not His

Although He was perfect, He literally died in the abject evil depravity of sin, because All sin was attached to Him... He BECAME SIN!

And what is the consequence of sin? Was it just "death"? No! Yah'shua's name was REJECTED! He was blotted out of the book of life! Because The Law states:

YAHWEH will not spare himbut then the anger of YAHWEH and his jealousy
shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written
in this book
shall lie upon him, and YAHWEH shall blot out his name
from under heaven.
[Deu 29:20]

The Father did not spare Him, but vented His anger against Him
because He became sin, and laid all the curses on Him...AND...

HIS NAME WAS BLOTTED OUT
OF THE BOOK OF LIFE!!

And YAHWEH said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. [Exo 32:33]

If we believe that He actually died for our sins by taking them to Himself, and that in doing so He became a curse, then we must also believe YAHWEH'S Law regarding how He judges those circumstances...and that His human name was blotted out of the Book of Life! WHY?

Because of Blasphemy!

Yah'shua was convicted and executed for blasphemy! He was under that curse! Therefore, the Law demanded that His Name be blotted out! YAHWEH is NOT a respecter of persons! He has ONE Law, and when it comes to sin, one judgement!

Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. [Psa 69: 28 -C.f. Rev 3:5, 13:8, 17:8, 20:12-15, 21:27, 22:19]

Since the unclean and defiled, which are unrepentant, who die in sin cannot come into The Father's presence, even evidenced by the fact that YAHWEH deserted Him while He was hanging on the tree, how is it that the whole world believes salvation is in the name of someone who was, by Law, absolutely rejected by YAHWEH? To accept His human name as the name of salvation is to deny the Law!

Isaiah also affirms that He bore our iniquity.

Isaiah 53:1-12 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of YAHWEH revealed?
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of Elohim, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and YAHWEH hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Yet it pleased YAHWEH to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of YAHWEH shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressorsand he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

He died for your sins...not His! It was your name that should be blotted out! We can only repent of our own sins, not those of others...yet He bore our iniquities. He became sin!

The Prophecy of Forgetfulness

We are also told by the prophet Jeremiah that His name would not be remembered!

But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered. [Jer 11:19]

Was this accomplished? In the Septuagint, the Greek version of the Hebrew scriptures, the name Yah'shua is written " Ιησου" (Ihsou), and this is also the spelling in the Greek writings often called the "New Testament". Thus "Ιησου" is the correct transliteration of the Hebrew name "Yah'shua" (KJV Acts 7:45; Heb 4:8). Why wasn't it blotted out? The Law demanded it. Prophecy foretold it. (Remember, even though the original Hebrew/Aramaic texts were translated into Greek, the audience was primarily worshippers within the synagogues (Acts 15:1-21), and the official sacred language of the synagogues was Hebrew. The names, therefore, would have been spoken as Hebrew transliterations, that is, retaining the original Hebrew pronunciation.)

The question arises, if His given name, Yah'shua (Ihsou/. IHSOU), remained unaltered throughout the texts, were the injunctions regarding blotting out His name fulfilled according to the Torah? If not, was Jeremiah 11:19 wrong also? Did the high priest apparently fail to carry out the Torah instructions, thus causing Jeremiah's prophecy to fail? Is the Word of YAHWEH false?

Absolutely NOT! There was a dual fulfillment to this curse. First, We noted that YAHWEH laid the curse of the law upon Yah'shua (i.e. His name was blotted out of the book of life), making Him to be sin for us...

His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of Elohim;) that thy land be not defiled, which YAHWEH thy Elohim giveththee for an inheritance. [Deuteronomy 21:23 - Deu 32:23; 29:19;Gal 3:13]

If one so defiled could defile the land...i.e. The Inheritance...it is even more unthinkable that heaven itself would be defiled also! ...thus His human name became a curse to YAHWEH, was "blotted out" of the book of life, and was permanently disqualified as the name of salvation!

Yes, that absolutely means there is no salvation in ANY human name!

Herein lies the dilemma... on one hand the Torah states that one so cursed would have his name blotted out of the book of life, which it most certainly was; yet on the other hand His name would be forgotten...but wasn't!

But doesn't the scripture say we are saved in His name? Yes, it does! But we are told that because He became a curse, His name was blotted out of the book of life! If His human name was blotted out of the Book of Life, but not the temple scrolls, what happened? If it isn't His human name that was blotted out of the temple scrolls, what name was?

The mystery solved!

Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolledand be very high. As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider. (Isa 52:13-15)

On one hand we are told that His name is exalted and higher than the angels, but we are also told ...

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. [Psalm 8:5 -Heb 2:7,9]

Obviously something happened between being made "a little lower than the angels" and being exalted and crowned "with glory and honour".

Understand that the name "Yahshua" was a very common name, a human name of flesh & blood, thus is lower than the angels, and connected to 'flesh and blood'. Since the life is in the blood (Gen 9:4; Lev 17:11,14; Deu 12:23)... it was necessary to pour out His blood (Ex 29:12; Lev 4:7-34; Isa 45:12; Jn 19:34)... His human life, which became sin, was poured out upon the ground and remained there and was not resurrected! Since His human name was connected to His blood via His human birth, it could not in any way be construed to be above every name that is named!

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Elohim; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. [1 Cor 15:50]

Therefore, His blood remained in death and could not be a part of the resurrection.

[note: this also disqualifies human organizations, i.e. "churches", from being the kingdom, or in place of it.]

Since His human name is "of the flesh" it was incapable of being THE name of salvation. Remember, ALL SIN was attached to his human name, completely defiling it...prohibiting it from coming into YAHWEH'S presence! There must be "another" name!

THE KEY OF SALVATION!

Here is the key! We read in Psalm 89:24

"But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him:
and in my name shall his horn be exalted."

Understand: He was exalted, i.e. resurrected, in the Father's excellent name! Messiah was NOT raised in His own name, nor allowed to use His own name, which ultimately was defiled with sin. But... In YAHWEH'S Name His power is lifted on high!

Let's not forget ...”that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of Elohim spake as they were moved by the sanctified spirit”. [2Pe 1:20-21]

What name does scripture say is "exalted"?

Neh 9:5b Stand up and bless YAHWEH your Elohim for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.

Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindnessand for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy name above all thy word. [see Heb txt]

Psalm 34:3 O magnify YAHWEH with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Psalm 89:16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they beexalted.

Isaiah 12:4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise YAHWEH, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Isaiah 25:1 O YAHWEH, thou art my Elohim; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

Isaiah 47:4 As for our redeemer, YAHWEH of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.

How clear can it be? YAHWEH'S name is THE NAME that is exalted and higher than the angels!

Exalted:
7311

... This points to Messiah's resurrection...in the Father's name! YAHWEH!

YAHWEH'S Glory Revealed!

In Psalm 89:24 we saw that The Father would raise Him up in His own name... and vss 27-28 show that He is to be The Father's Firstborn and holder of the covenant.

Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
My mercy will I keep for him for evermore,
and my covenant shall stand fast with him. [Psalm 89:27-28]

When Did YAHWEH'S Firstborn receive YAHWEH'S Great Name? Was it when He was born of the flesh, which we are told is lower than the angels? Was it just the prefix of YAHWEH'S name, YAH, that is to be counted, like so many others used in their names?

Of course not! The complete power of YAHWEH'S great name was shown and known when He raised Messiah from the dead and exalted Him IN HIS COVENANT NAME!

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,Which he wrought in Messiah,
when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: [Ephesians 1:19-21]

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the stakeWherefore YAHWEH also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [Philippians 2:8-9]

YAHWEH exalted His Son and gave Him a NEW name, a name above every name ... through His death and resurrection ... not his human birth! Let's be perfectly clear. Messiah was exalted at His resurrection and given the great name of inheritance ... because He was BORN OF THE SPIRIT!

And from YahwehShua Messiah, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, [Rev 1:5]

Who is the image of the invisible YAHWEH, the firstborn of every creature:18 And he is the head of the body, the ekklesia: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. [Colossians 1:15]

Receiving this exalted name that is above every other name didn't occur when Messiah was born in the flesh, but officially occurred when Messiah was BORN in the spirit...out from the dead!

Wherefore, we read in Romans 1 that messiah was ..."declared to be the Son of Elohim with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:". [Rom 1:4]

There are three things to immediately note,

  • that this is where Messiah is actually determined/ordained to be The Son of YAHWEH

  • with "power"...

  • by the resurrection out from the dead

Prior to His impalement on the tree, He was 'the only begotten' [Jn 1:14,18; 3:16,18; Heb 11:17; 1Jn4:9]...but not yet born (Jn 3:6-8), son of YAHWEH. However, at His resurrection, He now was officially "declared" The Son... with POWER!

POWER!

This is very significant! What is really being said? This is a direct reference to the very reason of His execution! What was it?

Mark 14:61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed?

Matthew 26:64 Yah'shua saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Mark states: "And Yah'shua said, I am (Ex 3:14): and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. [Mk14:62]

Here is the reference to "power". Does "power" have a hand? Does "power" sit on a throne? No! But YAHWEH The Father does!!

"Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;" [Heb 1:3]

Psalm 110:1 {A Psalm of David.} YAHWEH said unto my Adon, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Note also that "he had by himself purged our sins". Not even The Father was there to help Him! That is the consequence of sin! However, getting back to the trial...notice the reaction of the high priest:

"Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy. [Mat 26:65]

Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death. [Mk 14:64]

"Blasphemy"? What DID He say? Notice in Leviticus 24 what "blasphemy" entails. Verse 11 shows that blasphemy has to do with 'haShem', The Name of YAHWEH, and verse 16 clinches it:

"And he that blasphemeth the name of YAHWEH, he shall surely be put to death, and all thecongregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name shall be put to death."

Yah'shua could not have been accused, convicted and executed for "blasphemy" unless He publicly spoke the name YAHWEH (which was the interpretation of that day)! The use of the Greek "dunamis" is a substitute, a euphemism, for the sacred Name, because of its forbidden usage. What was said was:

"Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of YAHWEH, and coming in the clouds of heaven."

This caused absolute rage! The high priest was livid! He wailed "blasphemy" and tore his robe! This was the undeniable action that would absolutely condemn Messiah. The High Priest understood that sitting at YAHWEH'S right hand was the place of power!

{A Psalm of David.} YAHWEH said unto my Adown, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thineenemies thy footstool. YAHWEH shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. YAHWEH hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. Adonay at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. [Psalm 110:1-5]

Did Messiah Sin?

Yah'shua clearly spoke YAHWEH'S great name...
and had explicit instruction to do so!

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. [John 10:17-18]

Yah'shua was commanded to use The Father's Name - YAHWEH! He came in the Father's name! Everything was done in the Father's name! His disciples were kept in the Father's name! The Holy Spirit is the seal of salvation in the Father's name!

YAHWEH is the name of power & salvation! Messiah was both executed for...and resurrected by...the great name, YAHWEH!

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. [Psa 91:14-16]

Transition Foretold

The prophecies regarding His prophetic human name, Yah'shua, are transitional.

Jeremiah 33:15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

Zech 3:2 And YAHWEH said unto Satan, YAHWEH rebuke thee, O Satan;

[Note that the Word of YAHWEH definitely shows that there are TWO beings named YAHWEH!]

even YAHWEH that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

3 Now Yah'shua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.

The "filthy garments" represents the sin of mankind. Note that the sin was removed at YAHWEH'S command, not because repentance was involved! How was this accomplished?

5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head.

Exo 28:36 And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO YAHWEH. 37 And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be. 38 And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before YAHWEH.

Exo 39: 30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO YAHWEH. 31 And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten iton high upon the mitre; as YAHWEH commanded Moses.

...So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments.

The mitre contained the name YAHWEH, and the new "garments" are the clothes of righteousness! [Isa 61:10]

And the angel of YAHWEH stood by.
6 And the angel of YAHWEH protested unto Yah'shua, saying, 7 Thus saith YAHWEH of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shaltalso keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

Judgment and rulership are to be given to Messiah, plus a place at the Father's right hand.

Now look at what follows. "The Branch" is named - Yah'shua! And that there is an engraving... and that YAHWEH is the One Who does the engraving... and iniquity is removed!

8 Hear now, O Yah'shua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. 9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Yah'shua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereofsaith YAHWEH of hostsand I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. 10 In that day, saith YAHWEH of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

Note that it is not man's doing, that repentance is NOT involved...and that the iniquity, i.e. sin, is removed from Him by YAHWEH The Father! "I will engrave"..."I will remove"! So we see that Yah'shua, The Branch, receives an engraving. We have seen that the engraving is the name of YAHWEH upon His forehead, the sealing of the Name of Salvation.

Confirmation! Crowns are made and set on Yah'shua's head, and He is clearly identified as "The Branch".

Zechariah 6:11 Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Yah'shua the son of Josedech, the high priest; 12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speakethYAHWEH of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of YAHWEH:

Now notice that "Yah'shua...The BRANCH" ... is now transformed into YAHWEH!

Behold, the days come, saith YAHWEH, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. 6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. [Jer 23:5]

This "Branch" is caused to reign as King as the Hebrew has a reversed word order [מלך ומלך], showing that there is a causative action which makes the Branch to reign, and is the connection to the "righteous Branch" (Yah'shua) that becomes YAHWEH Our Righteousness.

Thus when the iniquity is removed by YAHWEH, Yah'shua INHERITS the name YAHWEH! Read it again!

In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. 16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, YAHWEH our righteousness. [Jer 33:15]

In that day shall the branch of YAHWEH be beautiful and glorious [i.e. after His resurrection], and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. [Isaiah 4:2]

This is the most amazing information ever known! The BRANCH was a man, of the lineage of David...then became a high priest and a king, and built the house of YAHWEH... but when He executes judgment and righteousness He is called YAHWEH! (More on inheriting the name in a moment.)

And another prophecy...

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah: (Isa 22:20-21)

Eliakim - prophetically... "El Raises" ...son of Hilkiah, prophetically - "My Portion Is YAHWEH"

And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: [which has been fulfilled - what follows is yet future]and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty El, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of YAHWEH of hosts will perform this.

: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. [Rev 3:7]

As the son of Man, His human lineage was of David, so He became the Key, the one who OPENS the way...the DOOR of Salvation! [John 10:7-9]

Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, forthe rebellious also, that YAHWEH Elohim might dwell among them[Psa 68:18; Eph 4:8]

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Anddeliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. [Heb 2:14-16]

[Note: If Messiah pre-existed as a created being, a messenger, i.e. an angel, then he would not even be able to take that nature, because he would have already had it! The choice of being able to take a different nature means he was not of that nature originally, therefore, he was higher than the angels. He was Yahweh Elohim. It should also be noted that "wisdom" (Pro 8) was something created by Yahweh Elohim, and was not an active agent in creation, thus a metaphor, rather than an entity. Continuing...]

Was it necessary that this name replace His prophetic human name? Absolutely!

  • The Name, YAHWEH, was required for entry into the Holy of Holies. This is crucial to understanding the importance of this name.

As high priest, in order for Him to enter into the true holy of holies, He was required to bear the full sacred name, YAHWEH on His forehead. The High Priest was Sealed & protected by the name!

And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO YAHWEH. [Exo 28:36]

 His Acceptance

Remember, once defiled in the flesh, Messiah could not enter into the Father's presence. At His resurrection, but before He had completed the ACCEPTANCE CEREMONY, i.e. the Wavesheafoffering [Lev 23:11-15], He could not be touched by flesh and blood.

YahwehShua saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. YahwehShua saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my El, and yourEl. [John 20:16-17]

However, once He had been formally accepted by The Father, He could be touched. [John 20:24-25]

Messiah, as our true High Priest Who has entered into heaven itself, follows the pattern of perfection, having YAHWEH'S sacred name in His forehead.

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his [name and his] Father's name written in their foreheads. [Revelation 14:1]

And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. [Revelation 22:4]

However, prophecies indicate that His name would not be known! This poses a unique problem since His prophetic human name, Yah'shua, has always been known.

[Note: The name "Jesus" did not come into usage until nearly 1500 years after Messiah, due largely to the misunderstanding of the Greek transliteration of the Latin spelling of the Hebrew name. Scholars, however, have always known that originally His name was Yah'shua.]Yet His resurrected name was lost from the beginning! Why?

DEFEATING SATAN

We must remember, the redemptive work was to totally defeat the power of Satan, not simply effect a partial rescue.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of YAHWEH was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [1 John 3:8]

Only a purely righteous High Priest could enter YAHWEH'S presence!

For Messiah is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of YAHWEH for us: ... For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Messiah was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. [Heb 9:24-28]

Wherefore YAHWEH also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [Philippians 2:9]

Again, this could not have been his prophetic human name, which He received at birth. This "highly exalted" name was through the faith and operation of Almighty YAHWEH when He was raised from the dead, but more importantly, He was raised in power, without sin, and made a son by the resurrection out from the dead... (as we have seen).

And declared to be the Son of YAHWEH with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: [Romans 1:4]

...With the name of inheritance that enabled Him to become that perfect High Priest Who has entered into heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Almighty Father.

Did Messiah actually INHERIT a new name?

Yes! However, we are completely unfamiliar with His name of power, His inherited name! So...examine this:

Being made so much better than the angels,
as he hath by inheritance
obtained a more excellent name than they. [Hebrews 1:4]

Hebrews 1:4 specifically says that Messiah "hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name". What is this name? Why doesn't the world know what it is?

First, let's ask (or review) a few basic questions.

What is required to receive an inheritance? The word of YAHWEH reveals...

For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. [Hebrews 9:16-17]

What does this mean?

  • This inherited name could not have been His prophetic human name, Yah'shua, because the name Yah'shua was given, not inherited, at His human birth, and is the name of a mortal man, which can die.

  • This name of inheritance is "obtained" rather than given

2816 kleronomeo  • from 2818; TDNT - 3:767,442; v • AV - inherit 15, be heir 2, obtain by inheritance 1; 18 • 1) to receive a lot, receive by lot 1a) esp. to receive a part of an inheritance, receive as an inheritance, obtain by right of inheritance 1b) to be an heir, to inherit 2) to receive the portion assigned to one, receive an allotted portion, receive as one's own or as a possession 3) to become partaker of, to obtain

  • The inherited name is higher than the angels. Yah'shua was a common Hebrew name — thus lower than the angels

  • It means that the true name of salvation is the name by inheritance — which required His death, i.e. death is the requirement. Thus the name of inheritance supercedes His human name.

Where do we look to find this "more excellent" name?
Again, we turn to YAHWEH'S word.

  • The Name of Inheritance is a "more excellent name

" & we are told what that "excellent" name is:

Let them praise the name of YAHWEH: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. [Psalm 148:13]

O YAHWEH our Sovereign, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

O YAHWEH our Sovereign, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! [Psa 8:1]

So we see that the sacred name, YAHWEH, is the "more excellent name". In addition...

  • YAHWEH'S Name is the name of Glory!

And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen. [Psalm 72:19]

Not unto us, O YAHWEH, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. [Psalm 115:1]

Let them praise the name of YAHWEH: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. [Psalm 148:13]

  • YAHWEH'S Name is magnified and exalted above all.

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy name above all thy word. [Psalm 138:2 *according to Hebrew syntax "word" is at the end of the structure.]

Stand up and bless YAHWEH your Elohim for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise. [Neh 9:5b]

O magnify YAHWEH with me, and let us exalt his name together. [Psalm 34:3]

  • Messiah did not glorify His own personal name, but YAHWEH'S as the Name of Glory!

Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. [John 12:28]
If YAHWEH be glorified in him, YAHWEH shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him. [John 13:32]
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. [John 17:5]

  • The name YAHWEH is the name of Eternity, it cannot cease.

  • To inherit a name, the name must already be in existence, and there must be a legal entitlement.

Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O YAHWEH, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.[Isa 63:16]

The name YAHWEH was never fully borne by a human...until now!

A PROBLEM VERSE?

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of YAHWEH. [John 3:18]

Was the fulfillment of the blotting out and forgetting His name fulfilled! If the Torah was followed, and His name was blotted out, and forgotten, we are looking for something that that is no longer there! If His prophetic human name was not blotted out of the written record, then what was? What name did messiah use?

I am come in my Father's name [YAHWEH], and ye receive me not:
if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. [John 5:43]

The world has received His own human name, or substitutes and variants of that human name, just as Messiah warned...and the whole world has been and still is deceived by His human name! Yet He plainly stated that He came "in my Father's name"... and no one believes Him! Do YOU?

And Yah'shua answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Messiah; and shall deceive many. [Mat 24:4-5; Mk 13:6]

-Note: If you are walking by faith and seeking YAHWEH you will understand. If, however, you are walking by sight, you are probably getting angry! It would be best to sincerely pray about this regardless!

Why doesn't anyone believe what He says?

Because...the fact that Messiah had the power to personally use the sacred name has been erased(blotted out) from memory... it is the key to salvation!

Obviously His human name which is laden with the sins of the world (and subsequently blotted out of the book of life) is not the right name to be trusting in!

Here is the catch 22...The scripture shows that His name is blotted out (of the book of life), but in the writings His human name remains intact, and not altered at all! It is historically known that mutilating a sinner's name was common practice, based on Deu 29:20 and other verses. Given the vehement hatred the religious establishment had against "this name", and the practice of "blotting out" a person's name through mutilation, how is it possible that His human name was unscathed? Or... is His human name what is left after the real Name of Salvation had been blotted out?

If you want to unlock something...get the KEY! But the Key that unlocks the door to the Kingdom, i.e. the door of salvation, was removed!

Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered. [Lu 11:52]

Remember, Yah'shua had a 'commandment' from The Father to both to "lay down" and "take up" His life, and that key was the name YAHWEH! To speak it meant certain death...and to trust in it was the only means to the resurrection! This was the very same key of salvation that was taken away by the intelligencia of His day.

To enter in...restore that key! What is it? What did they remove?

John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

If any come "in his own name"... that's what you believe, isn't it? That the name of salvation is His own human name? But He said He came "in my Father's name" and you don't get it! He came IN the Father's Name! That's The KEY!

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

If He came IN The Father's Name, The KEY to the door of salvation, and that KEY has been removed so that all we see in the written record is His human name... what was removed, i.e 'blotted out" from the written record of His Name? Why, The Father's Name!

Beginning At Baptism

From the day of His baptism, and the receiving of the Holy Spirit, Yah'shua, being the only begotten Son of Yahweh, had the right to claim Yahweh as His Father.

Mat 3:17 And Yah'shua, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of YAHWEH descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. [Mrk 1:10-11; Lu 3:21-22] In the transfiguration - [Mat 17:4-6; Mk 9:5-7; Lu 9:32-35; 2Pe 1:16-18]

Of particular note is that Peter refers to the "beloved son" as part of the transfiguration, they saw Messiah in His resurrected state:

2Pe 1:16-18 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Adonay YahwehShua Messiah, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from YAHWEH the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

Did Messiah, as a human, bear the sacred name? Absolutely!

John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath YAHWEH the Father sealed.

It is evident that the Messiah subordinated His own name to the great name, YAHWEH, even warning about anyone coming in his own name!

John 10:25 Yah'shua answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

John 12:28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Messiah; and shall deceive many. [Matthew 24:5; Mar 13:6]

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Messiah; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. [Luke 21:8]

Messiah was entitled to His Father's Name - YAHWEH! But it is rejected in favor of a human name! His human Name! Not someone else's name...not an imposter's name... His Name! Yah'shua!

We need to consider that salvation was always through YAHWEH'S name!

now you see it...now you don't

All that was needed to transform His name from Yahshua to YahwehShua was the addition of a single Hebrew letter, a "Hey ה"! [see details] And all it took to blot out and cause that name to be forgotten was the erasure of that single letter! All that would be left after that erasure would be His prophetic human name, Yah'shua, which is what we have in the texts today.

So when He said, 'believe in/on my name', yet at the same time condemned those for coming in their own name, it could not have been His own personal human name He was referring to, but the Name of Inheritance, “Yahweh”, which He had been given permission to use by direct command and authority of YAHWEH!

From His baptism forward, Messiah had exclusive authority as the only begotten Son to use His Father's name, but it was not until His death and resurrection that He could actually inherit it.

Why was it necessary for Messiah to have a 'new' name? YES! Because ALL SIN was attached to His prophetic, human name! His human name was totally disqualified from entering YAHWEH'S presence! According to the Law, and YAHWEH'S express Will, Yah'shua's human name was blotted out of the book of life!

However, He was resurrected by the great name, YAHWEH, and given that name of glory (John 17:1-6; Deu 28:58) as The Name of Inheritance. To inherit something, death is a requirement. Therefore the name of inheritance could not be the name given at His human birth, but only through death, and at His resurrection!

Sonship

Psalm 89:27 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. [C.f. Isa 9:6]

We must remember that any claim of son-ship was a claim of inheritance through (Mat 3:13, Mk 1:11; Lu 3:22; 1Pe 1:17), He held title to the Father's name, including usage and inheritance.

This claim at His trial was not the first time the religious establishment had become incensed.

Messiah said in Jn 10:30 "I and my Father are one".

A very direct claim to the use of the sacred name, and a reiteration of Deut 6:4.

Hear, O Israel: YAHWEH our Elohim is YAHWEH united. [Deu 6:4]

How did the Jews react?

Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. [v31]

Why?

Yah'shua answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself Elohim. [vs 32-33]

Son-ship was a claim of the inheritance, the great name, and ... the glory!

Yah'shua answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are elohim? If he called them elohim, unto whom the word of Elohim came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of Elohim? [Jn 10:34-36]

Remember, we have already read in the Psalms that YAWHEH would exalt Him IN HIS NAME, making Him His Firstborn, and setting Him at His right hand!

It is clear that the claim of son-ship was claim to The Name, YAHWEH, because of the charge of blasphemy. Had He used a euphemism, or an abbreviated version, there never would have been any charges, He would not have been condemned, and He wouldn't have been executed! But even more profound was the implication that He WAS YAHWEH, and thus inherently entitled to the name. But since He did not see that to be something to be grasped at:

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Messiah Yah'shua: Who, being in the form of [YAHWEH] Elohim, thought it not robbery to be equal with [YAHWEH] Elohim: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the stake. Wherefore YAHWEH also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of YahwehShua every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that YahwehShua Messiah is Sovereign, to the glory of Elohim the Father. [Philip 2:5-11]

Paul, of course, was referring to Messiah's pre-existence with The Father, and plainly shows that Messiah was in the form of, and equal to, The Father. Even though The Father is greater in authority, both were equal in their level of existence (just as you are equally human as any president or king)! But note that because He "became obedient unto death, even the death of the stake" was the reason He was exalted and given a new name, different than his "birth" name.

Claiming YAHWEH as His Father, Messiah also claimed an inheritance! But not just ANY inheritance. He was claiming YAHWEH as His lawful inheritance!

While the name "Yahshua" was a common name, no other human could ever lay claim to the Father's full name or the inheritance of His Name. And when He was resurrected in YAHWEH'S Name, He (again-Jn 17:5) inherited that excellent name as His own, through death and resurrection, so He was no longer the man Yah'shua, but once again, Adonay YAHWEH, Israel's savior! YAHWEH was His inheritance...just as promised in the scriptures!

Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; YAHWEH is his inheritance, according as YAHWEH thy Mighty One promised him. [Deu 10:9]

And YAHWEH spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel. [Num 18:20]

Do you really believe the scriptures?

Sanctify YAHWEH of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. [Isa 8:13-14 -see 1Pet 2:8]

Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I YAHWEH? and there is no El else beside me; a just El and a Saviour; there is none beside me. 22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am El, and there is none else. 23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. (Isa 45:21 -see Philip 2:11 above)

The passages from Isa chapters 8 and 45 are absolutely clear in two respects. First, the name used is YAHWEH, and second, they both apply to Messiah!

What name should we call upon for salvation?

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of YAHWEH shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as YAHWEH hath said, and in the remnant whom YAHWEH shall call. [Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom 10:13]

To replace YAHWEH'S great name with the common name of a man is blasphemy!

  • The glory of the Son is the glory of the Father in Him. The world rejects the glory of YAHWEH in the Son by rejecting the glorified name of the Son — YahwehShua — and substituting a man's name instead, which is blasphemy!

Who shall not fear thee, O YAHWEH, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. [Rev 15:4]
And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of YAHWEH, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. [Rev 16:9]
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honourethnot the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. [John 5:23]
Who is a liar but he that denieth that YahwehShua is the Messiah? He is antimessiah, thatdenieth the Father and the Son. [1 John 2:22]

I, even I, am YAHWEH; and beside me there is no saviour. [Isa 43:11; 45:21; 49:26; 60:16]

And YAHWEH shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one YAHWEH, and his name one. [Zechariah 14:9]

Only the great name, YAHWEH, qualifies in all instances!

Mikvah (Baptism) must Only be in the Great Name, YAHWEH —
which is also the Name of Inheritance
obtained by Messiah at His Resurrection!

CONCLUSION:

... Repent, and be baptized every one of you
in the name of Yahweh-Shua Messiah
for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Neither is there salvation in any other:
for there is none other name under heaven
given among men,
whereby we must be saved. [Acts 2:38; 4:12]

Praise YAHWEH!

Appendix

How His Name was Blotted Out! [a more detailed look]

  • The prophetic human name, Yahshua

(יהושוע - Ιησου- IHSOU), is neither omitted or unaltered, i.e. it is not blotted out! [Note: The LXX consistently renders Yah(u)shua (the (u) is silent) as Ιησου thus showing no alterations in the Greek Writings (a.k.a. the New Testament). Also, the three diacritical marks under the Sheen (שֻ) in יהושֻע are a replacement for the following Waw (ו) — without which יהושע should be read: Yah-u-sha rather than Yah'shua, which is a common error.]

  • However, the Excellent Name (of Inheritance), YAHWEH, does not appear anywhere in the New Testament!

  • Since a written name was blotted out by order of the high priest (Acts 4:18; 5:28), but it obviously was not His prophetic human name, it is this Excellent Name of Inheritance, YAHWEH, which was blotted out.

How could it go unnoticed?
The explanation is so simple, you will be amazed!

  • The erasure of a single letter reduced it to commonality. By changing the Great Name of Power and Glory into a common human name, no one would even notice!

How does this occur? What is the Name of Inheritance and what was it changed into? Follow closely!

  • Yahweh-Savior, or Yahweh-Saves is The Name of Inheritance.
Written in the Hebrew it is

יהוהשוע (Yahweh-Shua) (7 letters - the number of completion).

Now watch closely to see the alteration...

  • The erasure of the second

ה leaves יהושוע, Yah-shua [-Remember, the first ו is silent when there are two-] the prophetic human name of Messiah! (6 letters - the number of man). Erasure, or blotting out, is the fulfillment of the prophecies! His human name is blotted out of the book of life but was retained in the writings, and The great name of inheritance, YahwehShua, was written in the Book of Life, but was blotted out of the written scriptures, and has been lost and forgotten...until now!

While the original may have been written in Hebrew, it would not have been allowed to be removed outside the Temple without Rabbinic authority. Copies could be made in Greek, but had to exactly reflect the official Hebrew records, which were altered according to the law (see ref. Ex 32:31-32 above).

What difference does it make? Isn't the human name of Messiah good enough? In short, no, it isn't! Here's why...

Since YAHWEH'S name is eternal, and the only name allowed as the seal of salvation (that which is placed upon the forehead of the high priest and his children), anything that replaces YAHWEH'S great name prohibits salvation!

What is read is critical!

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) [Matthew 24:15]

What could be in the holy place that would be an abomination? We can understand this more precisely by what is supposed to be there.

  • Only the Great Name, YAHWEH, belongs in the holy place. Plus, it was the required name borne by the High Priest on his forehead.

The warning is to the reader because something is missing! This would indicate a difference between what is read...and what is said and heard. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them age-abiding life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. [Jn 10:27-29]

Voice, from phone means something heard. But if we hear what is written as read in the current texts when something is missing we are hearing wrong. It is what is pronounced and heard which is important. Remember...

  • All that Yah'shua did, He did in the Father's great name!

I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. [Jn 5: 43; 10:25]

  • And He openly stated that He and the Father were One, i.e. UNITED!

I and my Father are one. (Jn 10:30; For a fuller understanding of "One" meaning unity, see John 17:1-26, and the plurality of the Hebrew "echod")
Hear, O Israel: YAHWEH our Elohim is YAHWEH united: [Deu 6:4]

  • The Only name that belongs in the holy place is the Great Name, YAHWEH. Here's Why!

For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith YAHWEH, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith YAHWEH.
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, YAHWEH; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a Mighty One, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know YAHWEH: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. [Hebrews 8:8-13; Jer31:31-33]

And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am YAHWEH, saith Adonay YAHWEH, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. [Eze 36: 23-27]

-The Temple is where YAHWEH dwells, therefore...

  • We are the Temple of YAHWEH

Know ye not that ye are the temple of The Almighty, and that the Spirit of YAHWEH dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of YAHWEH, him shall YAWHEH destroy; for the temple of YAHWEH is holy, which temple ye are. [1 Corinthians 3:16-17]

  • The name of a man is a representation. Therefore, a man's name, which replaces the Great Name of YAHWEH in His Temple (which we are), is an abomination and defiles His Temple.

  • Nor should we forget that as the man, Yah'shua, He bore the sins of the world, thus attaching all sin to His human name

  • He did so outside the presence of The Father, (i.e. outside the camp) in order to completely remove sin from The Father's presence.

  • Since all sin is attached to His human name, neither can the human name of our Savior be accepted as High Priest in The Father's presence because He BECAME SIN!

A representation is a replacement, a substitution, which YAHWEH views as idolatry. Therefore, any other representation, or no representation, is an abomination...even His human name!

He that sacrificeth unto any elohim, save unto YAHWEH only, he shall be utterly destroyed. [Exodus 22:20]

O YAHWEH our Mighty One, other sovereigns beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name. [Isaiah 26:13]

Now therefore, O YAHWEH our Mighty One, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art YAHWEH, even thou only. [Isaiah 37:20]

Then saith Yah'shua unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship YAHWEH thy Elohim, and him only shalt thou serve. [Matthew 4:10]

We should note that Yah'shua was identified as YAHWEH incarnate, the Yahweh of the Hebrew scriptures, the spokesman [Yahweh (Mat 3:3; Mar 1:3; Luk 1:76, 3:4; Jn 10:30, 17:11,21), The Rock (1Cor10:4; Rom 9:33; 1Pet2:8), Redeemer & Holy One (Isa 49:7,26, 54:5,8, 59:20, 60:16, 63:16; Jer 50:34; Mat 1:24; Luk 4:34; Act2:27, 3:14, 10:35)], but not the same entity as the unseen [Jn 1:18; 3:32; 1Tim6:16; 1Jn4:12] Father. However, both were named YAHWEH and were united (Gen 1:26-27; Deu 6:4, 32:39-40; Gen 19:24, Zech3:2).

This is clearly verbal jujitsu, for Messiah was the YAHWEH (Shepherd, Rock, Holy One...) of the Hebrew scriptures. Messiah was being tempted (Mt 4:1) yet He said:.. It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the YAHWEH thy Elohim. [Matthew 4:7]

In other words... I am YAHWEH. You are to worship me, not tempt me!

He is Adonay/Sovereign
He that is our El is the El of salvation; and unto YAHWEH Adonay belong the issues from death. [Psalm 68:20]
For thou art my hope, O Adonay YAHWEH: thou art my trust from my youth. [Psalm 71:5]
For thou, Adonay, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. [Psalm 86:5]
All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Adonay; and shall glorify thy name. [Psalm 86:9]
I will praise thee, O Adonay my Elohim, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. [Psalm 86:12]
But do thou for me, O YAHWEH Adonay, for thy name's sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me. [Psalm 109:21]
O YAHWEH Adonay, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle. [Psalm 140:7]

  • We are SEALED in YAHWEH'S great name!

Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living Elohim: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our YAHWEH in their foreheads. 4 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our YAHWEH in their foreheads.

Eze 9:4 And YAHWEH said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. 5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: 6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

Rev 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of YAHWEH in their foreheads.

Note that the Lamb is sealed with the same seal as the 144000 - The Father's Name!

Rev 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his [name and his] Father's name written in their foreheads.

Remember, the high priest could only enter the holy place if he were wearing YAHWEH'S name on his forehead! There can be no substitutes!

Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of YAHWEH and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of YAHWEH and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Sovereign YAHWEH giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

  • From Adam to Messiah the name of Salvation was YAHWEH!

For I am YAHWEH thy Mighty One, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. [Isaiah 43:3]

I, even I, am YAHWEH; and beside me there is no saviour. [Isaiah 43:11]

And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I YAHWEH am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. [Isaiah 49:26]

  • From His return and through the millenium it is still YAHWEH!

And YAHWEH shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one YAHWEH,and his name one. [Zech 14:1-5... 9]

There are not two names, but only One Name — YAHWEH!

Remember, Malachi says:For I am YAHWEH, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. [Malachi 3:6]

So, if the name YAHWEH was the name of Salvation for thousands of years before Messiah, and it is again the name of salvation after He returns...what happened in between?

  • Our sins are purged away in YAHWEH'S Name

Help us, O Elohim of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake. [Psalm 79:9]

Moreover, we are sealed with by the Holy Spirit in The Great Name:

Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. [2 Corinthians 1:22]

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the good news of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, [Eph 1:13]

And grieve not the holy Spirit of YAHWEH, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. [Eph 4:30]

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, which the Father will send in my name, shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. [John 14:26]

Understand, if the Spirit of promise is in both the name of the Father and the Son, the only name it could possibly be...is YAHWEH!

  • Therefore, baptism must be in the Great Name, YAHWEH, only — which is also the Name of Inheritance obtained by Messiah at His Resurrection! Yahweh-Shua!

Note that "the name" is singular:

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:

"THE Name" (to. o;noma), singular with the definite article in the singular, not "names" plural or with any plural article! Not the name of the Son! Nor does this show half of the Father's Name. It is the complete name! Only One Name—YAHWEH!

  • YAHWEH OUR SOVEREIGN

Behold, the Adonay YAHWEH will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. [Isaiah 40:10]

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. [Rev 22:12]

Clearly, Messiah is Adonay YAHWEH!

In the Hebrew Scriptures we know that He is called YahwehNissi, YahwehShalom, YahwehTsaboath, YahwehRoi, YahwehJireh, and YahwehElyone. What objection can there be to YahwehShua?

If the Scriptures do not read what they should, what should be read? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Sovereign (YAHWEH). Then prayed they him to tarry certain days. [Acts 10:48]

When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Sovereign Yahweh-Shua. [Acts 19:5]

And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Sovereign (YAHWEH). [Acts 22:16]
