ROCK

Our beloved late brother Albert Smith’s favorite cap.

Psa 18: v1. I will love thee, O Yahweh, my strength.

V2. Yahweh my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my El, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, [and] my high tower

V3. I will call upon Yahweh, [who is worthy] to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Albert Smith (World War II veteran, one of the original 2 elders of The Light of YahwehShua, who was a postman, who put 8 children through college) presenting a message from the Rock.

Deu 32: v1. Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

V2. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

V3. Because I will publish (not remove it from Bible!) the name of Yahweh: ascribe ye greatness unto our living El.

V4. [He is] the Rock, his work [is] perfect: for all his ways [are] judgment: a Yahweh of truth and without iniquity, just and right [is] he.

 Mat 7: v24. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

V25. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

 Mat 16: v16. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Messiah, the Son of the living El Yahweh the Father.

V17. And Messiah answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

V18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this Rock (Messiah) I will build my Assembly; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Rom 9: v32. Wherefore? Because [they sought it] not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

V33. As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

1Pe 2: v4. To whom coming, [as unto] a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of Yahweh the Father, [and] precious,

V5. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to Yahweh the Father by YahwehShua Messiah the Son.

V6. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone (the corner stone is the most important stone in a building because all the other stones are oriented like it), elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

V7. Unto you therefore which believe [he is] precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

V8. And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, [even to them] which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

V9. But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar (Strong’s: a preserving, a possession, one’s property {Php 1: v13. So that my bonds in YahwehShua Messiah are manifest in all the palace, and in all other [places;]Eph 6: v20. For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak}) people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness (sin) into his marvellous light (Holy Spirit from the Father through the Son to the seen and unseen world controlling all creation):

V10. Which in time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of Yahweh and YahwehShua: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

V11. Dearly beloved, I beseech [you] as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

V12. Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by [your] good works, which they shall behold, glorify Yahweh and YahwehShua in the day of visitation.

V13. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for YahwehShua Messiah’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

V14. Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

V15. For so is the will Yahweh and YahwehShua, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

V16. As free, and not using [your] liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of the living El Yahweh.

V17. Honour all [men.] Love the brotherhood. Fear El Yahweh and YahwehShua. Honour the king.

1Co 10: v1. Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

V2. And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

V3. And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

V4. And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was YahwehShua Messiah.

Psa 89: v26. He shall cry unto me, Thou [art] my father, my El Yahweh, and the rock of my salvation.

Psa 94: v22. But Yahweh is my defence; and my El [is] the rock of my refuge.

Psa 95: v1. O come, let us sing unto Yahweh: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Isa 8: v13. Sanctify Yahweh of hosts himself; and [let] him [be] your fear, and [let] him [be] your dread.

V14. And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Psa 71: v3. Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou [art] my rock and my fortress

Psa 31: v3. For thou [art] my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

Psa 18: v46. Yahweh liveth; and blessed [be] my rock; and let the El of my salvation be exalted.

Psa 62: v2. He only [is] my rock and my salvation; [he is] my defence; I shall not be greatly moved .

Psa 28: v1. Unto thee will I cry, O Yahweh my rock; be not silent to me: lest, [if] thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit .

2Sa 22: v2. And he said, Yahweh [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

V3. The El of my rock; in him will I trust: [he is] my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.

1Sa 2: v2. [There is] none holy as Yahweh: for [there is] none beside thee: neither [is there] any rock like our El.

Deu 32: v15. But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered [with fatness;] then he forsook El [which] made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

V18. Of the Rock [that] begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten Yahweh that formed thee.

V30. How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and Yahweh had shut them up?

Deu 32: v4. [He is] the Rock, his work [is] perfect: for all his ways [are] judgment: a El of truth and without iniquity, just and right [is] he.

Soldiers: rock on with the ROCK!

HalleluYahwehShua!
