This interesting quote is noted in Matthew 24:28 and Luke 17:37.
Luk 17: v35. Two [women] shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
V36. [two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.]
V37. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Messiah? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body [is,] thither will the eagles be gathered together.
Mat 24: v27. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
V28. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Various commentaries are available, but our Creator appears to be talking about the end of this age. At the 7th Trump, angels shall gather together his elect (144k Saints) from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other.
Mat 24: v30. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
V31. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet (7th), and they shall gather together his elect (144k Saints) from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Angels are involved with the Saints.
Psa 34: v7. The angel of Yahweh encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
Heb 1: v14. Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation (Saints)?
Rev 1: v20. The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven Assemblies (being perfected): and the seven candlesticks (we are to be a light in this world) which thou sawest are the seven Assemblies.
Exo 19: v4. Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and [how] I bare you on eagles’ wings (angels), and brought you unto myself.
Psa 91: v4. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth [shall be thy] shield and buckler.
Isa 63: v8. For he said, Surely they [are] my people, children [that] will not lie: so he was their Saviour.
V9. In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
The Assembly or Saints will likely be taken to a place of safety in the last three and half years of this age by angels. Unfortunately, some of the Assembly will be martyred as they have been in the past.
Rev 12: v13. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman (virgin bride/Assemblies/small flocks) which brought forth the man [child.] (Messiah)
V14. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
V15. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water (people{Rev 17: v15. And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.) as a flood (many people) after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
V16. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood (similar to:{Num 16: v26. And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins. V27. So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.V28. And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that Yahweh hath sent me to do all these works; for [I have] not [done them] of mine own mind. V29. If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; [then] Yahweh hath not sent me.V30. But if Yahweh make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that [pertain] unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked Yahweh.V31. And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that [was] under them: V32. And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that [appertained] unto Korah, and all [their] goods. V33. They, and all that [appertained] to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.) which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
Paul mentions the Assembly of Saints being fitted together like a human body.
1Co 12: v12. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] YahwehShua Messiah.
V13. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
V14. For the body is not one member, but many.
V15. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
V16. And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
V17. If the whole body [were] an eye, where [were] the hearing? If the whole [were] hearing, where [were] the smelling?
V18. But now hath YahwehShua set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
V19. And if they were all one member, where [were] the body?
V20. But now [are they] many members, yet but one body.
V21. And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
V22. Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
V23. And those [members] of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness.
V24. For our comely [parts] have no need: but YahwehShua hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that [part] which lacked:
V25. That there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.
V26. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
V27. Now ye are the body of YahwehShua, and members in particular.
V28. And YahwehShua hath set some in the Assembly, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
Thus the word carcass in Luke 17:37 and Matthew 24:28 could be referring to Assembly or Body. The eagles could be referring to the angels looking over the Assembly and providing a hedge at our Creator’s direction.
Rev 11: v3. And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
The two witnesses shall prophesy 1200 and three score days which is exactly 42 months or 3 & 1/2 years leading up to the 7th Trump (30 day months) i.e. darkness where the moon is not seen, likely from all the destruction. This is exactly 3 and half years of 30 day months and it will be a difficult time for anyone alive at this point in history.
We should pray always to be worthy to escape all these terrible things coming upon the end of this age (approx. 6000 year plan of our Creator).
Luk 21: v35. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
V36. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
If we keep his word (New Covenant) we can be kept from the hour of temptation (testing). This is likely the last 3 & 1/2 years of this age prior to the 7th Trump. (1 day with Yahweh Shua / 1000 years on earth = 24 hours with our Creator / 1000 years on earth = 1 hour with our Creator / 41.66 years on earth {switch a year for a month} = 1 hour with our Creator / 42 months on earth). Thus, 1 hour of testing likely the last 3 & 1/2 years prior to the 7th Trump.
Rev 3: v10. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation (testing/our Creator allows Satan to test) which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
In addition, it’s important not to deny his name. It is important to know our Creator’s current name!
Rev 3: v6. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the small flocks.
V7. And to the angel of the Assembly in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
V8. I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name (using a title such as g_d,JC, Yahshua, or Jehovah denies his name and takes his name in vain and breaks one of the Ten Commandments, even thinking about using a false name!))
Exo 20: v7. Thou shalt not take the name of thy El in vain; for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain (Strong’s vain: falsehood {using a title or wrong names is a falsehood/ there was no j in any language until 500 years ago); names are transliterated to preserve the phonics or how a name sounds. Yahweh in Paleo Hebrew or tetragrammaton is Yahweh in English and they sound the same! Our Creator is YahwehSavior = YahwehShua}).
