THE LAST SUPPER (The night he was betrayed) SCRIPTURES

The following are beautiful scriptures to meditate on prior to Messiah’s Last Supper and the preparation day.  Prior to your keeping of this sacred event however, it is required that you be immersed in the name of YahwehShua and have hands laid upon you by an elder in the faith.

Messiah

A sister shared these scriptures with our small flock prior to our Passover service.  The Passover or Last Supper is when our Creator performed the greatest act of kindness of all time.  He sacrificed himself at the direction of the Father to absorb all sin (past, present and future).

Isa 53: v1. Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the Yahweh revealed

V2. For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty (unlike most pictures)that we should desire him.

V3. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

V4. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of Yahweh (the father), and afflicted.

V5. But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

V6. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Yahweh (Father) hath laid on him the iniquity (sin) of us all.

V7. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

V8. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

V9. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth

V10. Yet it pleased the Father (Yahweh) to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the (Son) Yahweh shall prosper in his hand

Jhn 13: v1. Now before the feast of the passover (preparation day before Feast of Unleavened bread sometimes called Feast of Passover), when Messiah knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

V2. And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s [son,] to betray him;

V3. Messiah knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from Yahweh the Father, and went to Yahweh the Father;

V4. He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.

V5. After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe [them] with the towel wherewith he was girded.

1Co 11: v20. When ye come together therefore into one place, [this] is not to eat the YahwehShua’s supper.

V21. For in eating every one taketh before [other] his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.

V22. What? Have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the Assembly of be YahwehShua, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I praise [you] not.

V23. For I have received of YahwehShua that which also I delivered unto you, That YahwehShua the [same] night in which he was betrayed took bread:

V24. And when he had given thanks, he brake [it,] and said, Take, eat: this is my body (eat/absorb his spiritual body), which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

V25. After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood (spiritual blood=Holy Spirit) this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it,] in remembrance of me.

Luk 22: v15. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover (future Passover meal 24 hours later when he is already dead) with you before I suffer:

V16. For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of Yahweh (future Millennium).

V17. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide [it] among yourselves:

V18. For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of Yahweh shall come.

V19. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake [it,] and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

V20. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Jhn 15: v12. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

V13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

V14. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

V15. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

V16. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father (in the future after Pentacost) in my name(YahwehShua), he may give it you.

V17. These things I command you, that ye love one another.

V18. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.

V19. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

V20. Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

V21. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.

Mt.26:26 And as they were eating, Yahshua took bread, and blessed [it], and brake [it], and gave [it] to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

V27. And he took the dip, and gave thanks, and gave [it] to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

V28. For this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

V29. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

V30. And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the Mount of Olives.

HalleluYahwehShua!

The Last Supper

The last supper is the night Messiah was betrayed, at the end of the 13th and the beginning of the 14th. He was placed on the tree at 9:00 a.m. on the daylight portion of the 14th and died at 3:00 p.m. on the daylight portion of the 14th, at the same time the Passover lambs were being slaughtered. At the end of the 14th, i.e. sunset, is when the Israelites went to their homes and were admonished not to leave until morning.

Messiah

Exo 12: v22. And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip [it] in the blood that [is] in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that [is] in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

How can we prove that the last supper is not the first day of the feast of unleavened bread using scriptures? Much confusion abounds due to inaccurate translations.

Exodus, chapter 12, shows that the lamb was set aside on the 10th day, fed water and then killed on the day portion of the 14th.  At the same time, the blood was placed on the door, the Israelites were admonished to stay in their homes until morning. Some have difficulty with verse six where it says to kill the lamb in the evening. In  Hebrew, between the evenings actually means from high noon to when the sun is going down. The Passover is the preparation day where the 1-year-old lamb without blemish is slaughtered at 3:00 p.m. Notice verse 15 and verse 18 which says to eat unleavened bread for 7 days from the 14th through the 21st. If you eat unleavened bread from the start of the 14th through the 21st that would be 8 days, therefore clearly the scriptures are saying at the end of the 14th, i.e. the 15th, the first day of the  feast of unleavened bread is when you start eating unleavened bread.

Did our Creator sin when he had the last supper and left the house before morning when he went to the garden of Gethsemane? Yahweh forbid! The last supper was at the sunset, or end of the 13th and the beginning of the 14th. Days begin at sunset and end at the following sunset.

Genesis 1:16 The sun rules the day and the moon the lesser light rules the night.

Leviticus 23:32 proves a day lasts from even to even, i.e., sunset to sunset.  Thus, when the sun (which rules the day) falls below the horizon at sunset the new day has begun.

The last supper was with leavend bread and new wine (unfermented grape juice) after sunset on the 13th (beginning of the 14th). The feast of unleavened bread Day 1 was on the 15th after sunset and was with unleavened bread and old wine (fermented grape juice). The preparation day or Passover was not a high holy day however, the 15th or feast of unleavened bread day one is a high holiday requiring a holy convocation.

The Father and Son planned his perfect sacrifice to absorb all sin (past present and future). I believe the preparation day, while not a high holy day, is beyond an annual High Holy day in its significance. It's the greatest event of all time which guarantees every bit of creation an endless life in in the new heavens and earth. Our Creator asked us to keep the last supper in remembrance of him. The leavened  bread signifies a portIon of his own spiritual body (assembly) and the juice his spiritual blood (Holy Spirit or Spirit of Messiah).

The last supper looks forward to Pentecost when the disciples would receive the Holy Spirit and be part of the first fruits.

Luk 24: v49. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Leviticus 23:17 mentions two wave loaves baked with leaven and are called first fruits. It also looks forward to the two witnesses which are part of the 144,000, likely the first two to be resurrected at the seventh trumpet.  See Rev. 11:11-12.

After being baptized and having hands laid on you, you are begotten and receive a down payment of the spirit of Messiah. In this life you're in the spiritual womb, so to speak . As you overcome, the spirit of Messiah matures in you .

Gal 4: v19. My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Messiah be formed in you.

Revelation, chapters 1-3, emphasizes the importance of repentance and overcoming to the 7 assemblies (the small flocks or assemblies being perfected).  If fully formed by the time of the seventh trumpet you truly will be “born again” into a spiritual body and be with our Creator eternally.

Who Is Melchizedek?

He is mentioned in Genesis 14:18- 20 as priest of the most high Yahweh (the Father). He is also mentioned when Abram gave him a free will offering or tithe (10%) of the spoils.

Gen 14: v18. And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he [was] the priest of the most high Yahweh the Father.

V19. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed [be] Abram of the most high Yahweh the Father, possessor of heaven and earth:

V20. And blessed be the most high Yahweh the Father, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Ps. 110:4  Yahweh (the Father) has sworn and will not repent.  Thou art a priest forever of the order of Melchizedek.

Paul gives further insight in Hebrews 7:3 “Without father without mother [without  genealogy], without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life, but made like unto the son of Yahweh; abideth a priest continually.

Heb 7:15-16 “And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.”

The only two beings to live forever are the Father and his Son, who is carrying out the plan of the Father from the very beginning. All creation, including the angels, all humans, as well as the seen and unseen world has a beginning and an end. No one has ever seen the Father except the Son; therefore Melchisedek (the Son) was seen by Abram.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego saw our Creator in the furnace.  Daniel, chapter 3:25, Nebuchadnezzar said        “Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of Yahweh”.

Messiah came in the flesh for one purpose: to take on the sin of the seen and unseen world and effectively canceling the day of coverings from that point forward.  Hebrews chapter 10: 5 reads “Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body thou has prepared me.” This greatest act of all time took on all sin, past present and future, and guarantees every bit of creation an endless life in in the new heavens and new earth.  At that time, the kingdom is turned over to the Father after everything is physically and spiritually cleansed.

The only two eternal beings until the new heavens and earth are the Father and the Son. Everything else is created and will have an end until the new heavens and new earth. It is a great plan.  Nothing has been left to chance and nothing is going to stop this plan from coming to fruition.  The Son is the Alpha and Omega and will carry out the plan perfectly at the direction of the Father.

For more details about the original high priest Melchizedek, please read the following beautiful article by Bob Bondurant posted on our website under News on July 2nd, 2018.

WHAT'S ON YOUR MITRE?

Aaron, the high priest of the old covenant, had to have a mitre on his head before entering the Holy of Holies.

Exodus 28:36-38 “And thou shall make a plate of pure gold engrave upon it like the engravings of a signet Holiness to Yahweh. and thou shall put it on a blue lace that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.  And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow and all their holy gifts and it shall be always upon his forehead that they may be accepted before Yahweh.”

He also had to wash his flesh in water and put on holy garments.

Lev 16:4 “He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen britches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water and so put them on.”

Everything (the tabernacle, holy garments, etc.) were done according to a detailed pattern given to Moses from our Creator.

Ex 25:9 “According to all that I show thee after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall you make it.”

This physical tabernacle and high priest are merely a copy of the true Holy of Holies in heaven.

Heb 9:24 “For YahwehShua is not entered into the holy places made with hands which are the figures of the true but into heaven itself now to appear in the presence of Yahweh the Father for us.”

The old physical covenant could only purify or protect the flesh, whereas the new purifies the mind. As a sister once told me “I don't want to hear about the physical I want to hear about the spiritual.”

Heb 9:13-14 “For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctify to the purifying of the flesh (body): How much more shall the blood of Messiah who through the eternal spirit offered himself up without spot to Yahweh to purge your conscience (mind) from dead works to serve the living YahwehShua.”

Ex 28:34-35 “A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about. And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goes into the holy place before Yahweh (Son) and when he comes out that he die not.”

The old covenant Israelites could only know that Aaron was alive while in the physical Holy of Holies because of the sound of the bell that he wore.  The Israelites could not enter in themselves.  However, in the new covenant we have access to the true holy of holies of the Father in heaven through his Son.

Heb 10:20 “By a new and living way which he has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say his flesh.”

The scriptures say we must be baptized in the name (not names) of the Father and the Son.

Math 28:19 “Go you therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son” (Some scholars say Holy spirit, but that was not in the original scriptures).

The name YahwehShua contains the name of Father Yahweh and the resurrected Messiah, his son YahwehShua. You will receive a down payment of the spirit of YahwehShua once you are baptized and have hands laid on you by an elder.

If you want ultimate access to the throne room of the Father Yahweh through his son YahwehShua, then you must have the right name on your forehead (mind). Aaron, a physical priest, had the name Yahweh on his mitre, i.e, on his forehead as a figure of the future having YahwehShua on your mind! There is no ultimate access without it. What's on your mitre?

THE WRATH OF YAHWEHSHUA?

In Exodus chapter 32:11, “and Moses besought Yahweh and said, Yahweh why does thy wrath wax hot against thy people which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and the mighty hand?”

In Deuteronomy 32:39, Yahweh says “See now that I am he and there is no other Yahweh besides me. I kill and I make alive I wound and I heal neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.”

Galatians 5:22 shows that anger is certainly not one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Ecclesiastes 7:9 notes that anger rests in the bosom of fools.

Is Yahweh a fool?  Does Yahweh have a fruit of the evil spirit? Yahweh forbid!

The Bible can't contradict itself as a sister once said to me the scriptures “must harmonize”.

Exodus 12:23 has a clue “For Yahweh will pass through to smite the Egyptians and when he sees the blood upon the lintel and the two side posts, Yahweh will pass over the door and will not suffer the destroyer to come into your houses to smite you”(referring to the first born).

Paul notes in 1st Corinthians 10:10, "neither murmur ye as some of them also murmured and were destroyed of the destroyer.”

The destroyer is none other than the chief Angel Lucifer who fell and now is Satan. You can read about his attributes in many places such as Isaiah 14:12-16 and Ezekiel 28:13 –19. The angels were created by our Creator (the Son) at the direction of the Father, and hence Job chapters 1 and 2 describe the angels appearing before the Creator and are thus called the sons of Yahweh.

In Job 1:10, Satan complains that our Creator had a hedge all around Job and everything that he owned which gives insight as to how our Creator and the angels that haven't fallen provide a hedge and work at the direction of our Creator.  Satan must obtain permission to do anything such as putting thoughts in our head, as noted in Job chapter 1 and 2.

James 1: 13 shows that Yahweh tempts no one, and is not tempted with evil. “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.”

Did Yahweh sin when he tested Job?  Yahweh forbid!  Satan had to get permission to test Job. Our Creator does this because when we are able to overcome Satan, it permits the growth of Messiah in us and gives us the opportunity of being one of the 144,000 saints.

Satan kept accusing Job and said that Job would curse our Creator when he was tempted. I'm sure Satan was accusing Abraham as well and said, if you tell him to kill his firstborn son Isaac, he'll curse you to your face.  Of course, our Creator already knew what Abraham would do, whereas Satan did not.

Our Creator knows that the adversary, Satan, will never repent which is why John 16:11 says the Prince of this world is judged. Our Creator can totally count on Satan to be the pruning shears or the wrath of Yahweh, but only after he gets permission to do so.

Our Creator loves all his creation, even all his angels.  He just does not love our sinful thoughts or actions. Paul asks in Romans 9:22, “what if Yahweh willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much long suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction?” The vessels of wrath are Satan, the fallen Angels and the humans that follow him. As the vessels of wrath, they can respond to Satan’s evil spirit and place evil thoughts in our minds   Again, he has to get permission from our Creator to even put an evil thought into us, as demonstrated in Job.

Colossians 1:16-17 “For by him [the son] were all things created that are in heaven, and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist”. This leaves no doubt that our Creator created the seen and unseen world including the angels and is in control of everything.  The hedge over his creation is a method that is used to control events.  If the hedge is lowered around people, they may fall prey to Satan’s wishes.  As a result, they may be tossed into the lake of fire by the adversary and the fallen angels.  The devil and the fallen Angels are also thrown into the lake of fire in Revelation 20:10. Perhaps our Creator puts down the hedge around Satan and the fallen angels, and they then burn up. Indeed, Ezekiel 28:18 says "thou has defiled the sanctuaries by the multitude of the iniquities by the iniquity of thy traffic therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee and it shall devour thee and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth and the sight of all them that behold thee.”

We know the word “forever” in Hebrew is olam and it means a period of time. Jonah was in the belly of the great fish “forever” and actually it was only 3 days.  Thus, when physical or spiritual bodies hit the lake of fire, their bodies will be destroyed possibly in two or three microseconds and their spirit returns to the Father.

It's the greatest plan of all time that the Father and Son planned long ago. They foresaw the fall of Lucifer and he now is the wrath of Yahweh and is used by Yahweh to prune those that are becoming Saints in this age and the innumerable multitude in the first hundred years of the last great day.
